msw media. Hello, and welcome to the Daily beans for Monday, June 29, 2026. Today, Trump has launched fresh attacks against Iran, but doesn't announce them until 30 minutes after the markets close Friday. The justice department is now 0 for 10 in voter roll lawsuits as a federal court rejects Trump's attempt to get Pennsylvania data. The Trump administration has asked the Supreme Court to greenlight its unprecedented immigration detention policy. The Buttigieg family was the subject of a vile home invasion. Bible stories are installed in Texas public school curriculum. A federal judge says a man with the same name as Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan is eligible to be on the prim. Tens of thousands are marching in the first Budapest Pride parade since Orban's ouster. The reflecting pool algae was caused by the administration removing nanobubblers for vanity reasons. Ahead of the Lincoln Memorial ufc weigh in, Mom. Donnie's rent freeze has been approved by the New York City board. The FEMA guy who claims he teleported to a Waffle House has been sacked. And naming your kid Donald has never been more unpopular. I'm your host, Alison Gill. Hey, everybody. Welcome, welcome. Happy Monday. there's a new episode of Unjustified out with me and Andy McCabe. You can find that wherever you get your podcasts. And there's also a new episode of the Breakdown over on the Midas Touch Network. You can find that at Mueller She Wrote dot com. Todd Blanche basically conceded to violating the law and now has a few days to put up or shut up as Katie Fang's lawsuit thrusts the Epstein files directly back at Todd Blanche just weeks before his confirmation hearings to become Attorney general. That's a pretty important story. Dana is going to be back tomorrow. Also. Beans Talk is coming back tomorrow, I believe, and we're going to go over the abysmal Turnout at the 250State Fair thing that Donald Trump put out, along with the fact that North Carolina, who refused to put up a booth, had one of their delegates. I think Nancy Mace's staffer put up a booth and they had a Confederate flag up and they were forced to take it down anyway. It's a big old mess. Vanilla Ice even backed out last minute because he. I guess he didn't want to play for tens of people. But there's a lot going on, and Dana's going to be back tomorrow. But in the meantime, there's a lot of news to cover, so let's hit the hot notes. Hot notes. All right, everybody. First up, Central Command says it launched additional strikes against Iran on Saturday. A further test of the fragile ceasefire agreement. I would say it's a complete obliteration of it and there never actually was a ceasefire signed by both countries. The latest flare up of tensions just a week on from the signing of a memorandum of understanding at Versailles intended to start the process of bringing the conflict to a close, began Thursday when Iran struck a ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz that the US Supposedly let through wrongly. The US Launched retaliatory strikes on Friday, accusing Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement. The Pentagon said its Friday strikes were in direct response to Iran's aggression against commercial shipping and it said that after the strikes, Iran given a chance to honor the ceasefire agreement but elected not to. A ah statement Saturday said Iran responded by hitting targets linked to American aggressor forces in the region, criticizing Gulf states whose territory has been used to carry out hostile actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran. On Saturday evening, U.S. centcom launched another wave of retaliatory strikes, saying it attacked multiple targets in Iran at President Donald Trump's direction. The president threatened that if Iran doesn't learn, the US Will be forced to militarily complete the job that we successfully started and that, quote, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist. So another war crime there. Iran confirmed on Saturday evening that it launched ballistic missiles and drones at eight infrastructure targets at US Military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain earlier in the day. And that's according to Iran's semi official Fars news agency. Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Command said in a statement Saturday that American forces will experience hell in the these coming days, according to Fars. Now, of course Sunday afternoon there are now announcements of a new peace deal about to be reached because apparently the Pentagon withheld announcing the attacks and the missile strikes until 30 minutes after markets closed Friday, setting up another pump and dump scheme. Right for for stocks and of course reaching some sort of a agreement to have another ceasefire on Sunday before markets open. Now next up from democracy docket, a federal judge dismissed the Department of Justice's lawsuit against Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt, who rejected its request for the state's unredacted voter files. Saturday's order was the 10th straight loss in courts for President Donald Trump and U.S. attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who've sued, well, she's head of the Civil Rights division who've sued 30 states and D.C. to gain unfettered access to voter registration lists, an unprecedented intrusion into states authority. Those losses don't include a federal appellate court dismissal of a DOJ lawsuit seeking similar private voter Information from Michigan handed down on June 24, we reported that here through democracy docket on the daily beans, that being the first Circuit Court to reject Trump's voter roll situation, collectively a decisive blow to Trump's unconstitutional crusade to wrest control of election administration from the states. One of these cases is going to end up at the Supreme Court, and we'll see what they have to decide. But currently that this stuff is blocked in these cases, at least there have been, I think, 17 red states who voluntarily handed over your personal, private data to the federal government. Don't tread on me. Next up from Politico. The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to bless its massive expansion of ICE detention, a policy that federal district courts have overwhelmingly rejected. We've been waiting, waiting for this moment to see how the Supreme Court will rule on indefinite detention without bond. Now Solicitor General John Sauer is urging the justices to resolve whether people residing in the US without incident for years, sometimes decades, may be subject to mandatory ICE detention while their deportation proceedings play out. It's a fight that could determine the fate of millions of people, and it could also help define the reach of due process rights for those accused of being in the country illegally. The Justice Department is asking the justices to sign off on a policy that's been overwhelmingly rejected by federal district court judges across the country, who have described it as a draconian violation of law and constitutional due process rights. Judges have delivered more than 9,300 rulings against the administration's unprecedented policy, which targets people who have resided in the US for years and requires them to be detained without the opportunity for a bond hearing while their deportation proceedings are underway. Now, despite the lopsided result in the district courts, Sauer described an untenable divide at the appellate court level. Five appellate circuits have ruled on the issue, breaking 3 to 2 against the Trump administration. A divide among appeals courts typically makes the Supreme Court more likely to intervene. The matter is still pending in another six circuits and could result in additional rulings at any moment. The Trump administration is appealing a ruling of the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, which rejected the administration's approach last month and also found people subject to the administration's new view of mandatory detention have a constitutional due process right to a bond hearing. I am, you know, while I'm pretty sure the Supreme Court will uphold birthright citizenship, maybe this week, I am not so confident that they won't allow this administration to proceed with this new policy of indefinite detention for people who are here for years waiting for their deportation proceedings. To play out. I don't have a lot of faith in this one. It'll be something about national security, probably six to three, along ideological lines. But we'll see. We'll see what happens. Next up from tnr, former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and his family were the victims of a false Child Protective Services report. According to Pete Buttigieg, who wrote this on his substack on Friday, I suggest you read it. Quote, many times over the years, I've been denounced, yelled at, protested, threatened and heckled. I've been through political attacks in office, death threats in public life and rocket attacks in war, but this is the ugliest thing that has happened to me since my career in service began. That's what Buttigieg wrote. He said that earlier this week, a police officer and a CPS Child Protective Services worker showed up at his Traverse City, Michigan home where he lives with his husband Chastain and their twins, Joseph August and Penelope Rose. They told Buttigieg that a very serious allegation had been made against him regarding his children and that he couldn't be alone with them until they received a forensic interview the next day without him or any relatives present. Then they would discuss the allegations with the former South Bend, Indiana mayor. The officer and the social worker wished to see the 24 year olds, so Buttigieg told them to wait until Chastain would be returning with the children from summer camp. When they arrived, the kids were fascinated by the police officer's car and the adults agreed that the children would stay with their grandparents overnight before the interview the next day. Quote, the 24 hours until they returned are among the darkest hours of my life. I tried to get my head around the idea that I'd been accused of something so serious that I couldn't be alone around my own children and had consented to have them interviewed by strangers without my knowing where the accusation had come from or even what it contained. That's what Buttigieg wrote. Now, after the children were interviewed, they went to stay with their grandparents, Buttigieg said, and then the police officer and CPS worker met him at his home for the interview. The officer said that an anonymous woman had contacted CPS saying that she had met Buttigieg years ago at a conference in Alabama, who allegedly told her that he had committed unspeakable violent crimes and and the caller believed my children were still at risk. The police officer asked if Buttigieg had been in a certain town in Alabama, to which he replied no, as well as a couple of obvious questions after that. The officer said that he believed the accusation was politically motivated and that it would not be referred to a prosecutor. The CPS worker also said the allegation could not be substantiated, although her process would take longer to complete. For 24 deeply distressing hours, we had no idea what I was accused of or what was about to happen. We could not understand someone abusing the system like this in order to hurt me and my family with an absurd and easily refuted allegation of a horrific crime. Buttigieg goes on to say, we're used to nasty, hateful, and sometimes violent things being said about us and even about our family, but this is the first time someone managed to invade our lives like this and drag our children into it. Absolutely horrific. And, my heart goes out to the Buttigieg family for having to endure this. I know so many people, I work with, so many people who've been swatted, but this Child Protective Services thing is just vile. It's just vile. All right, I have a ton of more news to get to, but, we have so much today. I have to take a quick break, so everybody stick around. We'll be right back after these messages. We'll be right back. All right, everybody, welcome back. More news, lots of news to get to. Fortunately, in this little second part, this B block here, we've got some good news, but this first story is not good news. This is from the Associated Press. Texas's education board on Friday approved a required reading list for more than 5 million public school students that includes Bible stories, widening conservative efforts to bring Christian teachings into U.S. classrooms. The state mandated list of assigned reading, which includes Charles Dickens, Great Expectations, and excerpts from the New Testament, appear to be among the first of its kind in the nation and are supposed to take effect starting in 2030 unless we flip the state blue. State Board of Education, which is controlled by Republicans, approved the list on a 9 to 5 vote following weeks of contentious debate that again put Texas at the center of wrangling over the role religion in public schools plays. Now, last year, Texas became the largest state to require teachers to hang the Ten Commandments in every classroom. This is also against the First Amendment. The board this week was also considering new social studies curriculum that draws lines between Bible stories and American history. Now, look, I went to a private Catholic school, so we read the Bible, but we did it with the understanding that it's not real. And then we would finish our theology class, go across the hall to our life science class and learn about evolution. And, forcing public school kids into one specific religion is antithetical to what the founders of this country set up when they wrote the First Amendment, the very, very important First Amendment. It doesn't just mean freedom of religion. It means freedom from Congress shall pass no laws. Right? I mean, it's pretty clear to me. And so if they're so against Mamdani starting Sharia law in New York, this would be the equivalent of Mamdani putting the Quran in public school curriculum and no other religious book. But, you know, I don't know, Democrats tend to follow the First Amendment, so we're not going to have that. But can you imagine how upset people would be on the right if that happened? They pitch a fit if somebody swears their oath of office on a book other than the Bible. So. All right, next up from the Associated Press, a man with the same name and party affiliation as Alaska Republican U.S. senator Dan Sullivan is eligible to challenge the senator in the August primary, according to a judge who ruled this on Friday. Superior Court Judge Thomas Matthews ruling overturns a June 15 decision by the Division of Elections Director Carol Beecher to disqualify the challenger and keep him off the primary ballot because of his name. Matthews ruling can be appealed to the state Supreme Court, though now attorneys for the state have said Tuesday is the deadline for a final ruling so that the ballots for the Aug. 18 primary can be printed. The judge ruled that the division's decision to exclude Dan J. Sullivan because of his candidacy was not in good faith. That was not based on the Constitution, he said, or Alaska law or the division's own regulations. The retired teacher from the small fishing community of Petersburg filed to challenge the incumbent, Dan Sullivan. The senator and allies, including the National Republican Senatorial Committee, have condemned the challenger's efforts to join the race, arguing his presence could confuse voters. Under Alaska's election system, the top four candidates from the primary, regardless of party, move on to the ranked choice November general elections. Now the senator has accused the challenger, Sullivan of working with Democrats and the campaign of Democratic former U.S. rep. Mary Peltola, who's considered the senator's main opponent, to cause confusion and boost Peltola's chances. Peltola's campaign and state Democrats have denied that allegation, as has the challenger, by the way. So Dan J. And Dan S. Sullivan will, for now, unless, the higher court intervenes, appear on the ballot. Some more interesting news. This is good news from pbs. Tens of thousands of people gathered in soaring temperatures in Hungary's capital on Saturday to celebrate the 31st annual Budapest Pride, the first such LGBTQ march since former Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who had sought to ban the event was ousted in April. The march began Saturday afternoon as temperatures reached 38 Celsius. That's over 100 degrees Fahrenheit amid a record breaking heat wave that has gripped most of Europe. Organizers distributed water bottles to marchers, and the city's public water utility opened fountains along the route. Participants set off from Budapest's iconic Opera House and wound through the city center before crossing the Ezra Bet Bridge over the Danube River. Members of Hungary's LGBTQ community and masses of supporters danced to music, waved rainbow flags. And Saturday's Pride march came a little more than a year after Orban's nationalist populist government passed a law and a constitutional amendment outlawing the Pride event, drawing criticism from human rights groups and politicians across the European Union. Yet in open defiance of the ban, last year's Pride went on as planned, and it was the biggest in Hungary's history, with organizers estimating attendance at over 350,000. The massive turnout for the march, which the government for months had insisted would no longer be permitted, was seen as a major blow to Orban's prestige. So Happy Pride Budapest. Next up from the Times. Oh, goodness. The story that won't go away. The nanobubblers had to go. It was early June, and the Trump administration was planning an event at the Lincoln Memorial on June 12 to promote Trump's ultimate Fighting Championship birthday celebration at the White House. Dotted around the perimeter of the memorial's reflecting pool were the nanobubblers, the temporary water purification machines to keep the pool clear of algae. Encased in black fencing and powered by large generators, the machines were something of an eyesore. Now, before the event, the weigh in, the National Park Service asked Greenwater Services, which won the $1.7 million no bid contract to install the nanobubblers to remove them, according to two people briefed on the decision. The people ask for anonymity because they fear retaliation from this administration. The Park Service did not provide a reason for the removal, but it coincided exactly with the promotional event, which drew crowds to the reflecting pool. Photos from that evening showed the pool without the hoses or the enormous machines working to keep the water clean. And the water looked dark blue when the nanobubblers were there. But. But by the time the purification systems were reinstalled just 36 hours later, enormous algae blooms were starting to spread unchecked, turning the water green. Now I'm waiting for that document. New York Times has confirmed that the Trump administration refilled the reflecting pool with city water, which, as we now know contains phosphates that feed algae. So I'm guessing when they refilled the reflecting pool with city water, they knew that an algae bloom could happen because of the phosphates. And that's why they brought in the portable nanobubblers and generators to prevent that from happening. And it seemed to have been working until the Trump administration says they don't. They look terrible. Take them down. We gotta weigh in these guys before the fight, the UFC fight, which killed the grass on the ellipse. It's just today, Donald, Trump said that the algae was put there criminally. And, you know, I mean, I gotta say, technically Trump is a convicted felon, so I guess it is criminal algae. Criminal vandals. It was you, dude. It was you. All right, next up from the Times, a New York City panel voted on Thursday to freeze rents for nearly 1 million rent stabilized apartments, fulfilling one of Mayor Zoran Mamdani key campaign promises and handing the mayor a major policy win. Just six months into his tenure, the panel known as the Rent Guidelines Board, approved the freeze on both one and two year leases in a seven to one vote, pausing increases on more than 40% of all apartments across the five boroughs. A mix that includes high rise luxury apartments, deeply affordable subsidized units and 150-year-old walk ups. New York City now may offer a model for rent control efforts to other cities and states. This is an historic victory for New York City tenants. That's what Mamdani said in a statement after the vote. And he added, I'll continue working to deliver a more affordable city by building and preserving affordable housing, lowering building operating costs like insurance, and, ensuring tenants know their rights. The freeze would apply to leases beginning on or after October 1st. It was the first rent freeze ever on both one and two year leases. The real estate industry vociferously opposed the rent freeze, saying it would hurt landlords, the poor landlords ability to properly maintain their buildings. Landlords and even some independent housing experts have been raising alarms in recent years about increasing the financial burden of insurance, maintenance, taxes and other costs. If you can't afford to be a landlord, then don't. Do not. And I also just want to say hats off because I remember a lot of people saying, oh, he's making promises. Pie in the sky. I'll never keep him. No one can get this shit done. He'll never get any shit done. He got it done. Hats off to him. Huge win. Huge win for Mamdani. Next up, when you're too weird for the Trump administration, this is from the Washington Post. A high ranking official at fema, Federal Emergency Management Agency, who sparked controversy for claiming that millions of people voted illegally in the 2016 election and that he once teleported to a Waffle House, has gone on leave, according to agency officials confirming Thursday. Greg Phillips, who was tapped to head the Office of Response and Recovery in December, has been asked to step away from his role because of concerns about how he's publicly perceived RFK Jr. You're fine, Dr. Oz. No problem. Donald Trump, great JD Vance. Super guy who teleports to Waffle Houses. You gotta go. Now we know where the line is. Now we know the line. All right, There's a fun story from Notice President Donald Trump wants his name on most anything. Money, buildings, airports, warships, even the nation's 250th anniversary celebration. But one item is increasingly out of reach newborns. In 2025, the baby name Donald hit its lowest point of popularity in US History, according to data maintained by the Social Security Administration and reviewed by notice. The federal agency received fewer than 400 Social Security card applications for Baby Donald's last year, making Donald the nation's 690th most popular baby name amid Trump's return to the White House for a second term. Even in Florida, Trump's new home state and a Republican stronghold, parents minted just 21 baby boy Donalds last year, on par with names such as Abner, Enoch, Nathan, N E Y T H A N, Aryan, Eros, Stone, and Westleigh. So I don't know, thought that was fun. Figured I'd bring you that news. All right, everybody, we have good news that we have to get to, but we're going to take one more quick break, so stick around. The California based medical humanitarian organization is funding the deployment of a team from Spanish Bomberos Unidos in Fronteras that's BUSF to assist search and rescue efforts and it's poised to send medical supplies to local healthcare partners as needed. Direct Relief has responded to multiple earthquakes, including the 2023 disaster in Syria and Turkey and then of course the International Red Cross. Despite experiencing damage to its own headquarters, the Venezuelan Red Cross nationwide network of hospitals and clinics remains active and continues to deliver care. Rescue teams are supporting evacuation and search efforts as well as mobilizing pre positioned relief supplies. Red Cross societies in Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras and Argentina, countries home to large Venezuelan communities, have ACTIV services to restore family links and help people find news about their loved ones. We're going to have a link to this article along with links to all of these ways you can help in Venezuela in the show notes and of course for Pride Month. We are still open and accepting donations to match my $10,000 donation to the Trevor Project to help LGBTQ youth. And you can donate if everybody listening just donates a dollar. My God, we would blow this thing off the roof. Just a dollar. It just takes a minute. It's tax deductible. It goes directly to the Trevor project at. Ah. Trevorproject.org beans. So that's your good trouble today. Thank you so much. Next in the good news portion is from Wendy Pronouns, she and her. hello, ladies and your team. Your podcast is the first one I listen to every morning while I garden. I've been a listener for years. You give me hope for better days, Wendy. Thank you. I'm retired and I've always wanted foster dogs. However, I already have two dogs and I just don't want a third dog. So I found a solution. An organization that you foster for a month or so until the pet returns to their mom or dad. The organization is Dogs Matter out of Dallas, and they're expanding. When a person wants to go to recovery from drugs or alcohol, many won't get the help they need because they have no one to care for their pet. Dogs Matter and their volunteers give a safe home for these dogs so their human can get the treatment they need. Fostering could be anywhere from 30 to 90 days. They also provide support for the human from a certified peer Recovery coach for 12 months. Their website is dogsMatter2, the number2.org and they're also on Facebook@dogsmatter2.org so we'll have a link in the show notes. I'm currently fostering my fifth dog, and it's been so rewarding. The dogs come to me confused and scared. Then over the first week or two, I watch them bloom and start to trust me as a foster person. You never get to meet the dog's mom or dad, but many times you get to see a video of the reunion. I've cried big tears watching the dog that I took care of run into the arms of their parent. Getting choked up a little. It's dusty in here, right? For pot pack tax. I'm including one of my recent fosters who stole everyone's heart that she met, including mine. No idea of a breed. Just pure love. Also, can we stop calling it unprecedented? Call it what it is. Abnormal. Yeah, for sure. Look at this sweet little angel dog. Oh, my goodness. What an incredible organization. Wende, that's so cool. For people who want to foster but, you know, can't really keep the dogs or worried about a foster fail. You're actually helping someone in need that has to go to rehab from drugs or alcohol to take care of their pet for them while they get well. Beautiful. All right, next up from Anonymous Pronouns he and him from Southeast Texas Dear Bean's Crew we work for a public library in Southeast Texas, and while we have LGBTQ books in the collection, our library administration leaves Pride display decisions up to individual branch managers, and only a small fraction of our branches put one up this year. I work at the main library branch and they chose not to. I decided something I could do as a cishet ally was be your own Pride display. B yopd. Attached is a photo. I've been wearing the button and the rainbow lanyard for my work ID all month long. As an interlibrary lone person, I don't have much direct contact with the public, but I do have to come over to the main building to retrieve and drop off books so I'm visible to patrons throughout the day. Not as good as an official Pride display, and I understand the rationale of wanting to keep a low profile. Our System System director feels it's more important to keep LGBTQ books on the shelf than provoke a backlash with official Pride displays. My modified professional attire was the one thing I could personally do to show solidarity. Happy Pride Podpet Tariff is a picture of our two Covid kitties, Casper White and Gray, and Coco the Calico, who are all grown up now. They're brother and sister from the same litter, but have very different personalities. Casper is a scaredy cat who doesn't like to be touched and startles easily, while Coco is warm and affectionate and less fearful of stranger. Casper can be affectionate on his own terms and when he wants attention, otherwise he would like to be left alone. They bring joy to my elderly mom and me and remain entertaining for us day in and day out. Anonymous this is fantastic. So you got the Pride lanyard, a big Rainbow Pride tie, and a big rainbow Ally Pride button. And oh, in the background is a Freedom is in peril. Defend it with all your might. Sign high 5 and the Kitties are gorgeous. Thank you for that submission. Next up From Marilyn, hi AD&G AG&DG. I don't even know my name. Love the beans. Here's a shout out to comic Paula Poundstone for doing daily short videos called hey Donald Trump on YouTube and other sites. Each is brilliantly funny and very effective and making political points and she's been doing them for months. She's a phenomenon, so I urge people to check out her YouTube channel. Here's to independent media, comics, historians and legal experts who champion democracy. Paula also has Larry and I love democracy videos. Things people can do each day to promote democracy. But I'm sure this is already way too long. Thanks. Pet pic Paula Poundstone shows off her cat, Larry. Paula is a, gem Marilyn. I've met her multiple times. She's been on the show a few times here on the Daily Beans. You can look up the old past episodes by searching Paula Poundstone Daily Beans in your podcast player and we'll have a link to Paula Poundstone's YouTube channel in the show notes. She is just a national treasure. Just a wonderful, warm, smart, funny woman. And I couldn't love her more. All right, next up from R. Mark, no pronouns. I live in Espanola on the Dominican side. Haiti is not safe to go back to. My pod pet. I believe the dog's name is Mango and there's a painting of a car. Adorable dog and a, wonderful painting and R. Mark, thank you. Yes, Haiti is not safe to go back to, but hundreds of thousands of Haitians are going to be forced. Governor Mike DeWine, Republican from Ohio, is like, this is bullshit. This is bullshit. These people are Ohioans. We invited them here because their home country is not safe. It's called Asylum, which is something that makes America great. Anyway, thank you, R. Mark, for that. Next up, anonymous pronoun she and her hello, my sanity savers. My 63 old husband has been a lifelong Republican. Go figure. I married him anyway. Anyway, he's not a Trump supporter, unlike his family, and has never voted for or even liked Trump. or else we would not still be married. Both our kids, 25 and 27, always have been Democrats. Anyway, Maryland held their primary election June 23, and when he went to vote, he was handed a ballot. He looked at it and decided there was no one he would vote for and asked if he could switch parties. Oh my goodness. He was told yes, but he must use a provisional ballot and that it would take three days to verify his information. He's now a Democrat. It was a good thing I was sitting down when he told me, otherwise I would have fallen over for my pod pet tax. I'm attaching a pic of my two dogs with my daughter's dog. You can try to guess their breeds, but one is pretty obvious. The one at the top is Kimba, a blank. The one in the middle is Milo, my daughter's dog. He is a blank, blank and blank mix. And the little dude at the bottom is Cody, and he is a blank, blank Blank and blank mix. Oh, my gosh, these little dogs are adorable. Now that top one, I know that looks like a Pomeranian to me. I don't want to get too overconfident, though. I get these wrong all the time. So we'll. We'll see in a minute. But that middle one, I don't know, looks like kind of a Chihuahua pug sort of dachshund kind of mix. Let's see. Well, let's just wait here. No, let's. Let's go one at a time because I'll forget what I said. Said, Pomeranian. Cool. The second one, which I said, I think Chihuahua pug dachshund is a Pekingese min pin pug. All right, okay, I can see that. I can see it. I love Pekingese, by the way. And the little dude at the bottom is Cody. And he is. Let's see. Well, I'm going to use the same thing. Thing. Dachshund pug Chihuahua. I'm gonna use my same answer. Oh, my God, it is a dachshund pug Chihuahua mix, maybe. Are you sure those aren't switched? Anyway, gorgeous puppers, and thank you for the. The guessing game. And congratulations on being married to a Democrat. Finally. All right, next up from Len, pronouns he and him. Hello, lovely ladies of the legume. Turnabout is fair play. So it is said. Said you came to Chicago. And I am now in Union Station, Chicago, waiting for my Amtrak train to California. At 82, I have only two items left on my bucket list. Living to see a democratic trifecta installed in 2029 and going paragliding at Torrey Pines Glider park in San Diego. Oh, it's beautiful there. I'll get there Sunday and leave on the fourth of July. And the only thing on my agenda is paragliding. So if you have recommendations for things I should do while I'm staying in Encinitas, let me know. I recommend, first of all, beach tacos. And our producers recommend Cali cream ice cream shop. So, Len, welcome to San Diego. I love it here. Maybe you'll come back for our November 3rd election night watch party. I've got a venue secured, by the way, everybody, if you want to join us, you got to be a patron at the five dollar level or more, which you could do at patreon.com Mullershire but I'm really looking forward to that night. And I hope you, share some paragliding photos when you return. Send them into the good news. Thanks for the encouragement you give to all of us to Be ourselves. And for the swearing, there is a dog pod pet of our blank Addie whom you have met before. Yes, I have met this goldendoodle before who is actually a black goldendle. I remember this because I was like, can you have that? And yes you can. And I'll just check under the box here. Yep. Golden doodle doodle. I do remember. I guess I still have a little bit of my memory left. That's good. All right, next up from Anonymous, pronoun she and her and I believe this is our final submission. Hello AG and DG on Friday. I was listening to you and John Fugal saying his rule to have three what the. Each day and then protect your heart is golden. When my mom was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, she gave us rules. One was to give her flowers now while she could enjoy them. And we did. Another is that you have 10 minutes each day to wallow in self pity and you can't roll them over into another day. Lol. Oh, use them or lose them. I see. John's rule reminded me of her in the best possible way. For my tax. I'm sending photos of two lilies in my garden. The pale yellow ones smell heavenly. Much love and appreciation, Kathleen. I, love lilies. I can't have them. I mean, I guess I could have them in my yard, but I can't have them inside because of the cats. I. But. But I absolutely smell favorite flowers. I like the stargazers. The smell is just incredible. for lilies. But thank you Anonymous so much for that. And, what a lovely note, everybody.
