msw media. Hello and welcome to the Daily beans for Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Today, Donald Trump will give a Thursday night address likely to prod falsified evidence of foreign interference in the 2020 election. A federal judge has sanctioned two lawyers and referred to Blanch and Stanley Woodward to the bar associations for disciplinary action after finding Donald's lawsuit against the IRS was a fraud on the court. The Justice Department has finally turned over evidence in the shooting case of Renee Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis. Twelve states have filed a lawsuit to block the Paramount Skydance Warner Brothers merger. The governor of South Carolina has appointed Lindsey Graham's sister to take over his Senate seat for the remainder of his term. ICE agents have killed another person in a vehicle in Biddeford, Maine, sparking protests at Susan Collins office. Twenty agents from the FBI and other federal agencies were seen with U.S. capitol Police officers entering Lindsey Graham's house. And Katie Fang is fired back at Todd Blanche's refusal to release court ordered Epstein documents. I'm your host, Alison. Oh, boy. I don't even know where to begin. So I'm going to start today. First of all, Dana's out. She'll be back, I think tomorrow or the next day. Don't worry, she'll be back. But thanks for hanging in with me solo. But I'm going to start today with Donald's planned address to the nation this coming Thursday night at 9pm Eastern. According to Ms. Now, he plans to show us evidence, quote, unquote, evidence that the 2020 election was stolen from him and perhaps even declare ossoff and Warnock's 2021 elections illegitimate, maybe in an attempt to increase his chances of passing the Save America voter suppression bill in the Senate. As of now, he needs 60 votes to pass it, but keeps failing. Senate Majority Leader John Thune said he will not fire the parliamentarian who forbids the bill to be passed using budget reconciliation with a simple majority. So that means he needs. He would need to find the votes to kill the filibuster, which he's been trying to do. That's why he said when presented with the fact that Lindsey Graham died this weekend, he said, oh, well, that's a big blow to the Save America Act. Now, another possibility. So that's one possibility he could announce. Another possibility is that he fabricates some sort of evidence of foreign election interference having to do with voting machines so he can give himself and the DOD and the DHS power to seize voting machines. One of multiple attacks, by the way, on our elections that he's pursuing. Others include his executive order attacking mail in voting. He's also got his pursuit of, voter rolls to create a federal database in a commercial private Cloudflare account run by an Airbnb guy, which is out of reach of government oversight, so that he can decide which votes count and which don't, and so he can also fabricate fraud. Now, he has a history of entertaining the idea of having the Department of Defense or Department of Homeland Security or Department of justice seize voting machines. In 2020. He tried to get DHS to say there was election interference, but Chris Krebs at cisa, which is part of dhs, said, nope, it was the most secure election ever. And then Chris Krebs got fired, and now there's an executive order out to get him. Trump also tried to get the Department of Defense to snatch our voting machines, but Rudy Giuliani told him in an Oval Office meeting that he couldn't invol the Pentagon unless there was foreign election interference. So they started to try to manufacture foreign election interference, but they also failed at that. Now, this time, he tried to get Tulsi Gabbard to go along with his fraud at the dni, and she seized voting machines in Puerto Rico and then confiscated Fulton County 2020 election materials. She commissioned two firms to investigate and write reports about the voting machines. And when both reports concluded that there was no fraud, Trump blocked their release and continues to block their release to this day, much like in 2020, when he commissioned two firms, including Simpawtico and Berkeley research firms, to write reports on election fraud. And both of them came back and said there was none, and he failed to release those reports. Jack Smith ended up subpoenaing those reports and used that information as proof that Donald Trump knew there was no election fraud. He also filed 63 lawsuits and lost them all. Well, now Tulsi Gabbard is out of a job and has been replaced with Bill Pulte, the mortgage guy, who immediately fired anyone that wouldn't go along with his scheme at the dni. And now he's going to make some sort of announcement on Thursday. I think there's reports that Bill Pulte has declassified a bunch of stuff about 2020, and they're going to come out with it. So before we hear his address in two nights, I want to read to you from a 2022 New York Times report about Trump trying to seize voting machines in 2020. And as I read this to you, I want you to think about which guardrails are no longer in place, so the New York Times reported. Six weeks after Election Day, with his hold on power slipping, President Donald J. Trump directed his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, to make a remarkable call. Mr. Trump wanted him to ask the Department of Homeland Security if it could legally take control of voting machines in key swing states, according to three people familiar. Giuliani did so, calling the department's acting deputy secretary, who said he lacked the authority to audit or impound voting machines. Mr. Trump pressed Rudy Giuliani to make that inquiry after rejecting a separate effort by his outside advisors to have the Pentagon take control of the machines. Now keep in mind who's in charge at DHS now and who's in charge of the Pentagon now? And the outreach to the Department of Homeland Security came not long after Trump, in an Oval Office meeting with William Barr, raised the possibility of whether the Justice Department could seize the voting machines, a previously undisclosed suggestion that Mr. Barr immediately shot down. Now keep in mind who's at the top of the Justice Department now. So we got Tom Homan, Todd Blanche and Pete Hegseth. Now the new information helps to flesh out how the draft executive orders to seize voting machines came into existence, and points in particular to a key role played by a retired army colonel named Phil Waldron. According to people familiar with the accounts, Mr. Waldron, shortly after the election, began telling associates that he'd found irregularities in voting results that he felt were suggestive of fraud. He then came up with the idea of having a federal agency like the military or Department of Homeland Security seize the machines to preserve the evidence. Mr. Waldron first proposed the notion of the Pentagon's involvement to Mr. Trump's former national security adviser, Mike Flynn, whom he says he served in the Defense Intelligence Agency. Now the plans were among an array of options that were placed before Trump in the tumultuous days and weeks that followed the election in 2020. Developed by an ad hoc group of lawyers like Sidney Powell and other allies, including Mike Flynn and Phil Waldron. That group often found itself at odds with Rudy Giuliani and his longtime associate Bernard Kerik, who recently, by the way, got a pardon from Donald Trump, as well as with Trump's White House counsel Pat Cipollone and his team. They're not there anymore. Now, around the same time that Trump brought up the possibility of having the Justice Department seize voting machines, for example, he also tried to persuade lawmakers to contest states like Michigan and Pennsylvania to use local law enforcement agencies to take control of them. According to people familiar, the state lawmakers refused to Go along with the plan. Keep in mind, over in Pennsylvania, sitting atop the district courts there is the Third Circuit, where now sits one Emil Bovey, Donald Trump's former personal attorney. Now, the meeting with Bill Barr took place in mid to late November when Trump raised the idea of whether the Justice Department could be used to seize machines. The Trump told Barr that his lawyers had told him the department had the authority to seize the machines as evidence of fraud. Mr. Trump mentioned a specific state that had used machines built by Dominion Voting Systems where his lawyers believed there had been fraud, although it's unclear which state. Trump was referring to Mr. Barr, who'd been briefed extensively at that point by federal law enforcement officials on how the theories being pushed by Trump's legal team about Dominion were unfounded. He told Mr. Trump that the Justice Department had no basis for seizing the machines because there was no probable cause to believe a crime had been committed. And again, Bill Barr's not there. Now we have Todd Blanche. It was only after several early options were exhausted that Phil Waldron pitched the idea of using other parts of the government to seize the machines. And he pitched it to both Rudy Giuliani and members of the Trump legal team. Also to Mike Flynn and his associates, including Ms. Powell and Patrick Byrne, the former Overstock.com CEO, who, by the way, just lost a $1.7 million defamation case to one Hunter Biden. He's a wealthy business executive who funded many of the efforts to challenge the election. Rudy Giuliani was vehemently opposed to the idea of the military taking part in the seizure of voting machines, according to two people familiar with the matter. The conflict between him and his legal team and Mr. Flynn, Ms. Powell and Mr. Byrne came to a dramatic head on that December 18, 2020 Oval Office meeting. That was a meeting, and we all learned about it, not only in Jack Smith's final report, but in the January 6th hearings as well. At that meeting, Mike Flynn and Sidney Powell presented Trump with a copy of a draft executive order authorizing the military to oversee the seizure of voting machines. After reading it, Trump summoned Giuliani to the Oval Office, according to a person familiar. And when he got there and read the draft order, he told Trump that the military could only be used if there was clear cut evidence of foreign interference in the election. Sidney Powell, who'd spent the last month or so filing lawsuits claiming China and other countries had hacked into voting machines, said she had such evidence. But Mr. Giuliani was adamant that the military should not be mobilized, and Mr. Trump ultimately heeded Rudy Giuliani's advice? Guess who's not there anymore? Shortly after the Oval Office meeting, Phil Waldron amended the draft executive order, suggesting that if the Defense Department couldn't oversee the seizure of the machines, then the Department of Homeland Security could. Now, around that time, Trump asked Giuliani to call Kenneth Cuccinelli, the acting deputy secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, to ask about the viability of the proposal. Mr. Cuccinelli said that Homeland Security officials could not take part in the plan. So that was 2020. Now, like I said, there's no Ken Cuccinellis, there's no Rudy Giuliani's. Now we have Tom Homan, Bill Pulte, Pete Hegseth, Todd Blanche, and I want you to keep all that in mind as Trump addresses the nation on Thursday night. As Matthew Gertz from Media Matters points out, the MAGA plot to subvert the 2026 midterm elections is coming into focus. Number one, declassify documents to claim 2020 was stolen. Number two, declare a national emergency to seize control of the election apparatus. And number three, hope the national security predicate keeps the courts out. You'll remember in the Alien Enemies act case when abrego Garcia and 200 plus other men were spirited away to Seacote Prison in El Salvador, the courts ordered them to return Abrego, Garcia, including the Supreme Court, but said that they must show due deference to national security. So just want everybody to keep all of that in mind as we await his address on Thursday night. All right, everybody, we haven't even gotten to the hot notes yet. We're going to do that after this break. Stick around. We'll be right back after these messages. We'll be right back. Okay everybody, lots more news to get to today. Let's start with the courts. First up from NBC, President Trump's lawsuit against the IRS was brought in bad faith and for an improper purpose, according to a federal judge in Florida who slapped sanctions on some of those involved. U.S. district Judge Kathleen Williams, an Obama appointee, said the lawsuit, quote, was not brought to vindicate rights but to manipulate the judicial process. Now I'm going to go over this ruling in detail on today's episode of Beans Talk, which you can find on the MSW Media Media YouTube channel. So check that out today for more details. This is a scathing ruling. It's a huge bench slap and I would love for you to see more of it. Next up, our friend Katie Fang has responded to Todd Blanche's failure to produce court ordered Epstein files. Her lawyers write the following in a brief filed Monday, quote, because of the brazenness of the defendant's repeated violations and because this brazenness fits a pattern of dishonesty, delay and obfuscation in this matter, this court should fine Attorney General Todd Blanche $1000 a day until he complies with this court's order, order an expedited production of the administrative record in this matter and direct an in camera review of those Documents that the defendants claim contains victim information. We're going to keep you posted on what Judge Emmet M. Sullivan does in this case, but I'm excited to see how he responds, given his first response ordering Todd Blanche to hand over the documents and Todd Blanche not doing it. Next up from the Minnesota Star Tribune. Months of effort between Minnesota state and federal law enforcement agencies led the Justice Department to finally turn over a substantial amount of evidence from the killings of Renee Good and Alex Preddy during Operation Metro Surge. That's according to Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty. The evidence, which was exchanged with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the bca, over the last two weeks without public acknowledgment by the federal government or Minnesota law enforcement officials, includes the SUV that Renee Goode was driving when she was shot and killed by ICE and ICE agent Jonathan Ross. I should say. It also includes hard drives of federal evidence, like body camera footage and statements from immigration enforcement agents about the killings. At a news conference, Moriarty said this will allow state investigators to be more thorough in determining whether or not to charge federal agents with crimes in connections with these killings. Quote, the wonderful thing is now we have all the evidence, moriarty said. We don't have to speculate about what we don't have. So that certainly makes our analysis easier. In a statement, BCA Superintendent Drew Evans said, quote, great strides have been made in ensuring both state and federal authorities have access to pertinent information. He didn't mention specific evidence. Moriarty declined to say when her office might make a charging decision or if the hard drives contained identification by the federal government of the agents who killed Good and Preddy. Although the Minnesota Star Tribune independently identified Ross, none of the agents involved in the killings have been named by the government. Moriarty said the state will follow normal protocols and any official identification would come from the bca. Renee Goode's SUV was transferred to state investigators more than a week ago. The SUV had been, in federal custody since Good was killed on January 7th. It's been seven months. The BCA has made requests for additional evidence from federal agencies and expects to receive it. So we'll see how good this evidence is, how the chain of custody held up, and all of that probably in the coming weeks and months. Next up from NBC, 12 state attorneys general have filed a lawsuit on Monday challenging Paramount, Skydance's $110 billion acquisition of Warner Brothers. Discovery arguing that the combined Hollywood giant would damage economic competition in the entertainment and media industries. Quote, the unlawful merger of these two entertainment behemoths would lead to higher prices, lower quality and less content for film and television, harming movie theaters, basic cable distributors, and ultimately audiences on every sofa and movie theater seat in the United States. That's what California Attorney General Rob Bonta said. His office is leading the coalition objecting to the deal. All right, now onto election news. Next up from the Post, Darlene Graham Nordone was picked Monday to serve out the term of her late brother, Senator Lindsey Graham, who died suddenly over the weekend. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster, M Republican, announced Graham Nordone's appointment from the State House in Columbia hours after President Trump publicly called for her to fill the vacancy. A mother of two whom has never held elected office, Graham Nordone was a political confidant of her older brother who helped raise her after their parents died. She often appeared in Graham's campaign advertisements. And when he ran for president in 2015, Graham, who never married, said his sister could play the role of first lady. South Carolina law dictates that the GOP hold a special primary election to select a replacement nominee, but it gives the governor discretion to fill the seat. In the meantime, Graham Nordone would serve through the end of her brother's term, which ends in January. Before McMaster's announcement, Trump suggested online Graham's wonderful sister Darlene should be the interim senator. Neither Graham, nor Doane, nor McMaster gave any indication whether she would be just a caretaker for the seat or if she would run for a full term, and she did not respond to messages seeking comment on that. Now, the filing period for the special election will open July 21, and it'll last one week. A, primary will take place August 11, and if no candidate wins outright, there'll be a runoff on August 25th. All right, and this is weird. Speaking of Lindsey Graham, NBC reported on Monday that nearly 20 agents from the FBI and other federal agencies were with U.S. capitol Police officers entering Graham's D.C. residence two days after he died. Two law enforcement sources familiar with the scene say that federal agents continue to investigate his death out of an abundance of caution. They're still waiting on toxicology screenings. I guess they're just making sure. I mean, he had an aortic dissection, according to the medical examiner. We'll see what happens, but that's weird to me. And our last story today comes from the New York Times. A federal immigration agent shot and killed an individual in a vehicle on Monday morning in the coastal city of Biddeford, Maine. That's according to the state attorney general's office. By Late afternoon, Federal authorities had not provided any information about the fatal encounter. The state's governor, the city's mayor and other officials say they were seeking details and demanded a full investigation of the killing. It was the second fatal shooting in a week involving an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent firing into a vehicle. A spokesman for Senator Angus King of Maine, who's an independent, said the senator had spoken with Marqueen Mullen, Homeland Security Secretary, who initially told Mr. King that the person who was shot had been ordered to leave the country and had been the target of an arrest warrant. But according to the spokesman, Mr. Mullen called the senator later on Monday to correct himself, telling him the driver had not in fact, been the target of the warrant. Social media video shot early Monday showed agents surrounding a still body at an intersection in a residential neighborhood of Biddeford next to a car with bullet holes in the windshield as local police officers arrived at the scene. It's illegal for ICE to shoot into a vehicle. Representative Shelley Pingree, a, ah, Democrat, said in a phone interview on Monday, quote, we've gotten reports that ICE officers shot through a car window and the individual in the car was killed. Liam La Fountain, the mayor of Biddeford, called for a full, thorough and transparent investigation into this fatal incident in a statement, adding, we will get answers, but we do not have them yet. Maine's Attorney General, Aaron Frey, said in a statement that according to initial reports, the deportation officer was, quote, conducting an enforcement operation related to a final order of removal when the subject attempted to flee in a vehicle in the direction of the officer and was fatally shot. There's a lot of new video out there that that didn't happen. Two advocacy groups, the Maine Immigrants Rights Coalition and Presente Maine said in a joint statement that a 26 year old Colombian man had died in the encounter. Project Relief, another immigration advocacy organization, said the man had a partner and a young child. The source of the advocate's information was unclear and could not be immediately confirmed with authorities. At a news conference in Portland on Monday afternoon, Senator Angus King said it appeared that the agents were not wearing body cameras. We gave, well, not, we, the Republicans gave you guys $130 billion. You can't get some body cams? This is the same thing that happened in the Salgado Araujo shooting. No body cameras. The shooting came amid an aggressive ramp up of immigration arrests across the country in recent weeks. Daily arrests of immigrants in the United States have doubled in the last week of June and continue to climb. Last week, as I said, federal immigration Agents killed Lorenzo Salgado Arujo, a Mexican construction worker and father of three who'd lived in the country for more than 30 years. Mr. Salgado Arujo was not the initial target of the officers who pursued his vehicle in Houston. Same as in Maine, it appears the agents were not using body cameras as well. Now, Governor Janet Mills, a Democrat, said in a statement that the Maine State Police and other agencies are consulting with federal officials to determine the facts of what occurred this morning. Senator Susan Collins called for a full and impartial investigation. Really? The Senator who cast the deciding vote for Brett Kavanaugh, who? The Kavanaugh stop is named after that. Susan Collins. The Susan Collins. The. Yeah. Okay. Now, the state, which has an aging population, has in recent decades welcomed immigrants who have helped breathe new life into the economy and now represent about 5% of the population. In the early 2000s, Maine received a large influx of refugees from Somalia and it's since resettled people fleeing conflict in other African countries and the Middle eas. It's also attracted a growing number of immigrants from Latin America, many of whom live in Biddeford, working class town on the coast. Now, the Portland Press Herald, as I said, reported that Maine Immigrants Rights Coalition and presente said the person who died was a 26 year old Colombian man, but who was authorized to work in the US and had been issued a Social Security number. How many times does this have to happen? With the bullshit vehicle weaponization excuse, the lies in the initial statements from the Department of Homeland Security, the COVID up. What do you want to bet there's no cooperation with the feds in this investigation? It's horrific. All right, everybody, we're in desperate need of good news and we'll have some for you after this quick break. Please stick around. We'll be right back. Oneskin changed the way I think about skincare because it asks better questions and it looks for better answers. Instead of asking how to hide wrinkles and fine lines and the loss of elasticity, their longevity, researchers looked at what causes those changes. They focused on damaged senescent cells, also known as zombie cells, and developed OS1, a proprietary peptide designed to switch those cells off and slow skin aging. At the source, it's really cool. I use both the moisturizer and the spf. Neither one requires extra work or too many steps to be effective. And the texture is light and fantastic. The hydration lasts, my skin eats it up and it looks smoother and more even after consistent use. And what stands out the most is the long term changes My skin barrier feels stronger. My skin holds onto moisture better, it's got better elasticity and it's better than it did with products that only gave me a short lived surface effect. The summer bundles are especially smart because sun exposure can account for up to 80% of skin aging. Visible skin aging and OneSkin pairs its OS1 skincare with SPF Essentials helping reverse the visible effects of previous UV damage while helping prevent new damage from occurring. It is everything you need in just one product. OneSkin also backs their products with extensive lab research and four peer reviewed studies supporting safety and effectiveness across all skin types. I have shared one skin with so many people in my life. My bff, her wife because the recommendation is easy, deeper hydration barrier support and visibly healthier skin. So who doesn't want that now? Up is your good trouble Good trouble Today, Todd Blanch Senate confirmation hearing is scheduled for July 15th and 16th. With the unexpected death of Lindsey Graham, and with Mitch McConnell unable to vote and the recent slush fund ruling out of Florida, Todd Blanche's confirmation to become U.S. attorney General is expected to be extremely close. So oppose Todd Blanche for Attorney General. Using the five Calls app. They say, quote, the Attorney General is the nation's top law enforcement officer, not the President's personal attorney. The Senate should reject the nomination of Todd Blanche and demand an Attorney General who will put the Constitution and the rule of law above political loyalty. So we'll have a link in the show notes on how to oppose Todd Blanche for Attorney General. Now, again, if you listen to this past episode of Unjustified from Sunday, you'll know that even if he doesn't get confirmed, he'll probably be able to stay in the job as act long as he wants. however, it's really important that he doesn't get confirmed just so we can say no. Especially given all the stuff that just came out in that FBI letter they sent me in my FOIA request in the Epstein Files case. They're withholding stuff they admitted to withholding that should have been released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This guy's a lawless piece of shit, and we need to make sure he's at least not confirmed. So if he's serving, he's serving illegitimately. That could come in handy later once we replace him. Also, for your good trouble, don't forget we're raising money for the Trevor project this Pride Month. July is Pride Month in San Diego, where I live. So we're keeping it going through the month of July. You can just give a buck or two. And, you know, if you give a bigger amount, it's tax deductible. So if you got to spend some money to write off from your taxes this year, please head to trevorproject.org beans. All right, first up in the good news is from Anonymous. Hello, Beans, Queens. I'm writing to share some signs of the times. Here in Knoxville, Tennessee, I found a great way to help the campaign of Michaela Barnett. I hope I'm pronouncing Mikaela properly. She's running to unseat Tim Burchett from his congressional seat this fall. Is it Burchett? Burchette? I don't know. You know the guy I'm talking about. I've been delivering yard signs, and it's a lot of fun and it's a great way to volunteer on a campaign while staying flexible on time and a good way for an introvert to help as well. Ooh, I love this. I'm also active with my Indivisible chapter here and I've attached some examples that we've run on our digital billboard buys lately. They're such a great thing to see in our town and they've been really well received now. Ah, last but certainly not least, today the Trump store in town began running its own special sign. It's going out of business sign. Bye Felicia. So wonderful. I'm sharing that as well. That is good news. Anonymous these are great. Trump supporter superstore going out of business. Everything's 50% off. Let's see his files. Their war your kids. Ooh great billboard and local elections matter. Vote early July 17 through August 1 Make America Constitutional again. I love these. Anonymous thank you so much. See, this is what you kind of stuff you can do and be a part of when you're getting your community. Join a local Indivisible chapter. We wanted to post a follow up about Baxter, who we posted about last November on Good News. Listeners might remember that last July we found Baxter a stray dog. Yeah, who was in bad shape and needed treatment for heartworm and general neglect. To make a long story short, we reached out to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue in March to help promote him, and in May we got the email we'd been waiting 10 months for. We drove him to meet his new parents on Memorial Day weekend and it was love at first sight. Baxter now gets to romp around in the suburbs of Sacramento with his new brother, Aspen, a 14 year old deaf Rhodesian Ridgeback. Attached is a photo of Baxter on his way to be shown off at a yard sale where he proceeded to mark a number of the items. Oh, good job Baxter. Congratulations Louise and Ken. That's a great happ ending. See, these are the kinds of things tiny, you know, little small things that you do that bring a smile to our face. Next up from Ruth Pronoun. She and her hello from Kansas City. I'm writing Simply to say fuck. DJT Sending a picture of a fuzzy orange belly. Watch out, it's a trap. As tax. I'm sending a funny pic from our spring break trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas. That's my finger bird. The other hand is a lady taking a video of the Trump Zoltar. Let's just say she was taken aback by my gesture. Oh, my God, there's a Trump Zoltar machine. And when I say Zoltar machine, I mean the Zoltar machine from the movie Big. You know, where he makes a wish to be Big, there's one with Trump in it. And instead of Zoltar on the top, it says Trump. Yeah, I'd flip that off, too, Ruth. Thank you for that. And thank you for the lovely orange kitty. All right, next up from Run. No pronouns. I'm from Norway. Good name, Rune. I like it. Wanted to show you these northern lapwings. The northern lapwing is a critically endangered bird species in Norway, but where I live, there are at least three pairs of northern lapwings within five miles of each other. One of the pairs decided to nest in the field next to my house. There are now two small northern lapwing babies that are running around in the field next to my home. They're not out of the woods yet, since they aren't able to fly, and there's a lot of dangers, foxes and cats in the area. But they are around one and a half months old now, and they seem to be doing well. They're beautiful. They kind of look like roadrunners. They're gorgeous, Rune. Also, sorry about Norway and the World Cup. I was hoping they'd go all the way. That, Erling, Holland is a treat, as is the row. I'm Norwegian, so I was rooting for Norway. Run. Thank you. Next up from Ed. Pronounce he and him. Bonjourno, Queens of the beans. It's another update from Ed today. We arrived in Messina, Sicily, and traveled about halfway up Mount Etna, which is in a state of near constant activity and erupted last week severely enough to cancel excursions. We got about halfway up the southern slope to see where the lava flow stopped in 1993, after two years of violent activity. It was remarkable. Molten rock carved into forest and valley for more than half a mile, only to stop feet from a local house. The locals erected a statue of St. Mary to mark the spot and also acknowledged a joint effort by Italian and American soldiers and geologists to divert the main lava flow away from populated areas. And in this volatile environment, vineyards thrive and Some of the world's finest saffron is grown and processed. People build homes and raise families, and they even bring busloads of tourists to take pictures and marvel at it. All today's photos are of Mount Etna from a local vineyard and. And the end of the 1993 lava flow. Wishing you all a happy day and an even better tomorrow. Oh, wow. Look how cool that is. Oh, my God. It's right by the house. lava terrifies me. I was obsessed with volcanoes when I was a kid. Dinosaurs, outer space and volcanoes. Those were, like, the three things I was obsessed with when I was, like, three, four, five, six years old, man. Absolutely fantastic. Ed, I hope you're going to be there for, like, the next. Till the midterms. Can you stay there till the midterms and keep sending these Updates in until November 3rd, please? And then come to the election night watch party on November 3rd. That would be great. Speaking of our election night watch party, come watch election results with us. That bench slap from Judge Williams in Miami and the Trump VI RS fraud on the court that ended in the 1.776 billion dollar slush fund settlement. And the tax immunity thing, I think you really are going to enjoy it, if you like that kind of schadenfreude. and, I'll be back on yours tomorrow.
