And in an early morning hour ruling at 1am this morning, Thursday morning, Wednesday night, Federal Judge Tim Kelly ordered the Trump administration to temporarily reinstate CNN, MSNow, and POLITICO's access to the White House after they were banned from the premises by Donald. In his ruling, Kelly found that the revocation of reporters passes was done without constitutionally adequate due process. And you heard me, you heard me say it here yesterday. I said, I hope he rules on First Amendment viewpoint discrimination grounds, not just Fifth Amendment due process. The lawyer for the media outlets, Boutros, said in the hearing that he really needed a judge to rely on the First Amendment grounds. Because he said, and I quote, I'm quoting the lawyer here, the shenanigans will continue. You can see where we're headed. Here there will be a series of faux due processes, and here it's just so over the top. And lo and behold, Thursday night, Ms. now and CNN were just barred from the North Portico meet and greet between Trump and President Xi ahead of the state dinner. They were told instead they should reach out to Stephen Chiang for more information. And that's great. I was kind of giving them the benefit of the doubt this morning when some of the passes weren't working. I was like, to be fair, the ruling came in at 1am and so to have those passes ready before the President's personnel office, for example, even opens might, be a little, expecting too much, particularly from this very incompetent administration. And sure enough, the passes started to work. They started to let him in, but then they were barred again. They applied for their credentialing last night. So maybe because the order hadn't come down yet, but then they should have put their credential through. It's, I don't know. We'll see what happens. Also, a lawyer for five fired FBI agents. They were fired in February after Patel came back from Italy for his, you know, that very, well known beer chugging incident. These five agents were fired. They're actually being asked to testify in the grand conspiracy case that the Trump administration is trying to bring in Florida. Remember, they first tried it in D.C. and they couldn't get a grand jury. Tried it in Pennsylvania, couldn't get grand jury there. Virginia, I think. Then they went down to Miami. Now they're in Fort Pierce, where the grand jury will be overseen by Judge Eileen Cannon. And they want these five FBI agents to come in and testify. Like, one of them wrote the affidavit to get the search warrant for Mar? A Lago, for example, and wants him to testify about the classified documents case. Because in the grand conspiracy case, if you haven't been listening to Unjustified recently, Donald Trump and Todd Blanch are trying to link Russia, Russia, Russia in 2016. And all those folks, Hillary Clinton, Pete Strzok, Lisa Page, Annie McCabe, that whole gang, and of course, John Brennan, who put together the intelligence community assessment that said Russia was interfering in our elections to help Trump, that whole thing, they're trying to tie it in to the raid at Mar A Lago as both being events that violated the civil rights of then citizen Donald Trump. Because I don't know why, but it's it's not true. It's not real. I don't know how they're going to get an indictment here, but that's what they're investigating. And they're trying to tie it to Mar A Lago because the statute of limitations for any wrongdoing in 2016 would long be gone. So they're trying to tie two different things, two different investigations, two different DOJs, two different FBI's, into one big massive conspiracy against him. And they are saying to Judge Cannon, hey, you've got an order that says no one is allowed to talk about what's in volume two of Jack Smith's final report to anyone who's not inside the Department of Justice. So you need to tell us what you want us to do here because if you want us to testify, immunity won't help because that doesn't protect against contempt of court. And if we do this, we're violating your court order. So what are you going to do, lady? And I'm going to talk more about why this is amazing over on Beans Talk today. You don't want to miss today's episode of Beans Talk. So check it out. All right, we have a lot of news to get to here, so let's hit the hot notes. Hot, notes. First up, from the New York Times. When the Department of Homeland Security sent Nevada a list of 185 names last month that it claimed identified non citizens who had been improperly allowed to register to vote, state election officials got to work. On Tuesday, the state sent a strongly worded rebuke to the federal government. Every single person on the list is a lawful United States citizen. Quote, as for the 185 individuals, our, records indicate they were citizens. That's Greg D. Ott, Deputy Attorney General in Nevada. And that's according to a copy of the letter sent to the Department of Homeland Security officials obtained through an open records request. Quote, you have provided nothing of substance to suggest otherwise. Mr. Ott also stated DHS officials still not provided any data for election officials to investigate their claims, nor have they turned over the list of the near individuals they claim may be non citizens. Quote, our records don't support DHS's claims and DHS still hasn't provided evidence to change that. And that's Francisco Aguilar. We've had him on the show. He's the Democratic Secretary of State in Nevada. He went on to say, instead, DHS officials continue their attempts to intimidate election officials into compliance and deter voters with huge claims of fraud. With no evidence. Repeating unsupported claims does not make them true. It was the Trump administration's latest stumble in a broad campaign to find proof of widespread noncitizen voting in American elections, despite decades of evidence, decades of evidence that it is extremely rare. The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement that Nevada's characterization was false and the list of 185 were simply a subset of individuals that had gone through a rigorous manual review process at the time of the last meeting between the two agencies. What? They were a subset of individuals that had gone through a rigorous manual review. None. They're all citizens. Your rigorous manual review process sucks. Now, the back and forth began in July when President Trump and Mark Quain, the Homeland Security secretary, said they had identified more than 270,000 non citizens on voter rolls in just four states, Nevada, California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Both men stated the claims as fact, but letters sent to election officials in four states in the days that followed indicated that the numbers may have been inflated. Each letter qualified Mr. Trump's concrete assertions with the phrase there may be as many as none offered actual proof of any non citizens on any voter rolls. In Nevada's case, Mr. Mullen initially claimed there were as many as 15,903 noncitizens on the voter rolls. But in a meeting between Nevada election officials and DHS last month, department leaders admitted that their initial claim was unsubstantiated. That prompted some pointed questions from Nevada election officials, according to a video recording of the virtual meeting. So what you're saying is the 15,000 number has not been vetted? That's C. Murphy Hebert, chief deputy in the Nevada Secretary of State's office. And Kimberly Vaught, an official with Homeland Security, replied, I probably wouldn't use the sentence it hasn't been vetted because definitely we've done something with it to get it down to 15,000. So I wouldn't say that, but it hasn't had a full manual review of each one. Following the meeting, Ms. Vaught sent a clarifying email to Nevada officials. I also wanted to be sure I clarified that we did not reduce the 15,903 to 185. We've manually reviewed some of the 15,1903 and confirmed 185 are not US citizens. You confirmed it because all of them are citizens. All of them. And Nevada also took issue with the letter DHS sent them in September. Earlier in September, in which the agency reiterated its initial claims of 16,000 non citizens on the rolls, it's all bogus. It's just all bogus. Next up from the Times, the California Supreme Court Thursday ordered a county Sheriff to return 650,000 ballots he seized from election officials as part of an investigation. I'm doing air quotes into voter fraud that state officials said had no basis in fact. The state's highest court in April ordered Chad Bianco, the Republican sheriff, former oath keeper Riverside county guy, to halt his investigation as the court case challenging the seizure proceeded. The court determined Thursday that Sheriff Bianco has no authority to take the ballots on congressional redistricting that were cast in Riverside county during California's 2025 special election for Prop 50. The decision could have implications for the midterm elections in California, where many are concerned about misinformation and tampering with the vote counting process. Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, signed legislation last week that was intended to further block local officials from interfering in ballot counting. California Supreme Court justices Thursday issued unanimous decisions in two cases focusing on Bianco's investigation determining that the seizure of the ballots was unlawful and had threatened the integrity of elections in the state. Quote, I would underscore the seriousness of the violation here. This is not a case involving a few documents. That's Associate Justice Goodwin H. Liu in a concurring opinion that was published Thursday. He went on to say it involves the unlawful removal and handling by armed deputies of over a thousand boxes of documents. And not just any documents, but the most precious documents of the citizenry in a democracy, their votes. The investigation centered on that election I was telling you about, Prop 50. I think someone should arrest him. He stole ballots. Just because you're a sheriff doesn't mean you can steal stuff. I am the law, okay? He looks like a weird, like if Meatloaf and Greg Beino had a baby. He's got a big 70s handlebar mustache and he's like, it's just a weird. He friend for governor got his ass kicked. Oh man. All right, next up from the Post, a Republican House candidate in Maine who has made the border central to his campaign. I repeat, a candidate in Maine who has made the border central to his campaign said this week that his family had become entangled in a deportation case. I never thought it would happen to me. I never thought the leopards would eat my face. This reminds me of the three time Trump voter who's now very mad about diesel prices. Now this is Paul LePage, former Maine governor, staunch conservative. He said Monday that his son's father in law who he said is in The United States legally is being deported because he came from a country that's not to the liking of certain people in Washington, and that's not right. LePage said he has a work permit. He should be allowed to stay. For years, LePage has backed immigration enforcement and supported Maine agencies working alongside federal authorities. More recently, the issue has touched a nerve in Maine, where the Trump administration began sending a surge of ICE officers in January. Six months later, in July, an immigration officer fatally shot a man in Biddeford. This week, LePage reiterated his support for ICE's immigration crackdown, but made a fresh distinction, saying he supports operations specifically targeting people who may have come to the US illegally. Quote, they have a job to do, LePage said of immigration officers. Now, would I go after everybody that's here that have work permits and have been here for decades? Probably not. I'd probably go for the people in the gangs and, the criminals. Would ya? y' all had signs at the RNC that said mass deportation. Now, I didn't vote for this. Yes, you did. Yes, you did. All right, next story is from Politico. And this was that lawsuit that I almost totally forgot about. President Donald Trump's drive to seek legal retribution for a seemingly inaccurate poll published by the Des Moines Register in the home stretch of the 2024 election race suffered a major setback Wednesday. You could say that the state court overseeing Trump's lawsuit threw the case out in entirety. Yeah, that's. That's what we call a setback, saying that allowing it to continue posed a threat to the robust debate the nation needs about its elections and candidates. Allowing a legally faulty claim like this to proceed carries a cost that an ordinary case does not, because defending it can discourage others from reporting on and debating public affairs. That's Judge Scott beatty in a 64 page ruling. Erroneous statements are inevitable in free debate and must be protected if the freedoms of expression are to have the breathing space they need to survive. The poll, released three days before the general election, showed Kamala Harris leading Trump in Iowa 47 to 44. Trump ultimately won the state 56 to 43. Now, both before and after Election Day, Trump denounced the poll as not only inaccurate, but deliberately slanted to disparage him and demoralize his voters. And in December 2020, four weeks after Americans voted to return him to the White House, Trump filed a suit against the newspaper, its parent company Gannett, and a longtime pollster, Ann Seltzer. The lawsuit did not claim that the poll defamed Donald Trump. Instead, he sought damages for a violation of the Iowa Consumer Fraud Act. I guess, avoiding the hurdles confronting libel, plaintiffs Trump's lawsuit decided to say that the poll was a defective product under the Iowa Consumer Fraud Act. M. Beatty disagreed. Simply labeling the poll a product doesn't change the analysis. The fact that someone was paid to conduct the poll does not transform it from speech into a product. The rights protected by the First Amendment are not a word game. So that's nice. All right. But this next story is even better. It's from Ms. Now, and this is some deep cut schadenfreude for people who've been listening to me since the kitchen table days. Since Mueller, she wrote. Remember, we've been covering the Freedom Fest member Freedom Fest. Pew, pew, pew. We've been covering it since 2017. Okay. 2018, I think. And this is a story about, about Freedom Fest. And it's just. It warms the cockles of my heart. So. All right. Freedom Fest, a pro Trump event in Kentucky featuring Kid Rock that was scheduled to take place this weekend. Pew Pew has been canceled for low VIP ticket sales, according to its organizer, Eric Deters, a failed House candidate Donald Trump supporter. In a now deleted video posted to his Facebook page late on Monday, Dieter said he had to cancel the event. Patriot State Freedom Fest. Pew, Pew, Pew. Which was free to the public but cost $1,000 for the VIP experience. What's the VIP experience? Do they rub cow shit in your face now? Deters said only six VIP passes had been purchased since Monday, which was not enough to offset the cost of the event for him. Oh, that's too bad. That's, that's too bad. Quote, when I put together Patriot State Freedom Fest. Pew, Pew, Pew. I put it together with the game plan and the idea that I could pay for it with VIP sales of a thousand dollars from a hundred people that I interact with on a regular basis and have money a hundred. A hundred times a thousand. Okay. That's the cost of the show. Jesus. All right. That's what Dieter said in the video, by the way. Out of all these people, he says that have money, that I interact with, who I do favors for all day long, they ask me for something, I never say no. I never said no to these people. Dieters went on railing against his acquaintances for their lack of support. I am never, ever, ever, ever, ever doing this event again, he said now. Dieter did not immediately respond to Ms. Now's request for comment. He took the video down. He lost a Kentucky Republican primary for U.S. house seat in 2020. 4. He has organized freedom Fest. Pew. Pew. For years with high profile MAGA figures like Don Jr. Eric Candace Owens. Dieters also canceled the event in 2023 after announcing that then candidate Donald Trump, whom Dieters said would headline the festival, backed out. Freedom Fest. Pew, Pew, Pew. I think it's finally dead, y'. All. After. What is that? Almost, I would say eight years, maybe nine years of reporting on Freedom Festival. I think it's finally done, at least according to Dieters. I get like 19 emails from POLITICO a day and I read all of them and I usually throwing my laptop at the wall over how institutionalized and corporate and right wing Politico is. And that's something. Remarkable that they can't give any specifics they didn't like. They'll say Russia hoax. But you ask, and ask your right wing loved ones, please tell me one thing that CNN has reported that was the opposite of true and they did not issue a retraction. Give me one specific thing. Russia. No, tell me what. Trump never even volunteered what it was. And that makes it especially funny that it was a Trump appointed judge who smacked him down.
They did, after the fact. In fact, they said one of the CNN articles that bothered them was that, munitions were low. And you know, they complained, the White House complained that they referenced an anonymous staffer from the White House, but that was actually on a call to the press from the White House that told them to source an anonymous senior staffer from the White House. And that, by the way, anonymous senior staffer was J.D. vance, which they didn't say. They just cited anonymous senior staffer at the White House as they were told to do so by the White House. M. So it's just fascinating what I wish the judge would have done. And I'm kind of sad about this. First of all, I wish he would have given a preliminary injunction and not a, temporary restraining order, but I think the preliminary injunction's coming. But he only ruled on due process. Fifth Amendment. You didn't tell them what they were doing wrong before you took away their press passes. And you have to do that by precedent of this court and Supreme Court. That's just how. That's just what the precedent is. But what he didn't rule on was the First Amendment. And Boutros, the very amazing lawyer who is representing the media outlets in this case, all three was like, can you please also rule on the First Amendment? Because otherwise he's going to come back with some lame due process thing and we're going to be here again next week. Yeah.
Yeah. Well, you know, checks and balances at this point is more of a decorative throw pillow in our government, not so much a thing. But, yeah, Judge Timothy Kelly's not some partisan cartoon villain appointed by the other team. Trump appointed this guy, which will make it really fun to hear him complain about it.
But it was his first appointment. It was before he got smart about
the kinds of things. He was still listening to Republicans and actual conservatives back then. He was still had Rex Tillerson in his ear. I mean, I, love that the judge this morning says immediately, and immediately means whenever the White House feels like it. Because Politico tried to access the White House today, and they were turned away, as we're CNN and Ms. Now.
And then, honestly, I think that's just an administrative error. I don't think that they were defying a court order on purpose. I really do.
Because now, oh, Donald Trump would never defy a court order. He'd never defy a court order.
They work now.
I love they work now.
I've worked for the government. It's going to take a minute to get all the way down to the person and the OPP that has to turn those badges back on.
It's just, well, I'm, down, so I won't. Yeah. But the best part of this entire saga for me, and I mean, the best part was watching these media organizations, including, you know, who come together in solidarity and say, we're just going to blow you off on the White House press pool. We guys, we lived long enough to see Fox News tell Donald Trump, you leave CNN alone. We lived to see it. That's how much the dam is breaking.
Well, CNN did it for fox back in 2009, so I know felt they owed him a favor.
They're journalists. They have to. It's another sign that, you know, Uncle Rupert can't stand Donald Trump, and I think the billionaire class is done with this guy. But Rupert. We know Rupert hates Trump from the Wall Street Journal. He is just letting it begin to bleed into Fox News, and that makes it plenty entertaining. And so, you know, the best part of all of this is going to see how Donald Trump will try to get over the humiliation because the dude folded like a Gap sweater. I mean, he did let him back in. So he's either got to find a way to claim victory or, ha, ha, do something so elaborately obnoxious that it changes the subject, which is something that he's actually quite good on doing. He can change a media narrative, and I wouldn't be surprised if he, I don't know, gives Xi a loving foot massage on camera. Just so we're talking about that instead of the fact that he got punked by his own judge.

It used to be a shrine to Donald Trump. It had Trump endorsed all over the homepage. Right. It was like a campaign website about the Trump cinematic universe. Donald and Donald's. Now Donald Trump has been demoted to a rotating quote carousel. Like, here's a Charlie Kirk quote, here's a Elon quote, here's a Trump quote. Like, it's political taxidermy. They're trying to keep the Drump brand alive while removing any visible evidence they actually know the guy. And watching these cowards and quiz links try to do this in a way that won't upset man, baby. Oh, it's, it's. I mean, it's beautiful and like, you know Trump. Oh, great guy. Yeah, we, we love Trump. Great guy. Just, let me tell you about my own policy proposals. They're terrified. The cult is trying to keep one foot in the cult and one foot in the real world. And they're going to have to discard this guy. Like, he discards allies and flunkies and wives. Right.
And meanwhile, Democrats don't have to move to the center after the primaries because 58% of Americans want Medicare for All. 52% of Americans want to tax billionaires. 51% of Americans want to give dreamers citizenship status.
Like, I'll keep that going. Web. Women's reproductive freedom, decriminalized weed, paid family leave. These things are data centers. data centers. And these things are not. These are things. Everything you've listed, including taxing billionaires, is popular with independents and popular with conservatives as well. This is no time for this party to play safe. Go bold. Thank God Dr. Al said is really showing him how to do it. I mean, he's going so bold and doing it in such a, an Obama like way of being so accessible and likable while being an academic wonk. It's like Pete Buttigieg on steroids. It's really fun to watch.

It was the media, too. I mean, do you remember shortly after the primaries, the media was like, this Hassan Piker guy is down in the polls. We're gonna lose Michigan because he took the wr.
They've done the wrong thing. Why did the Democrats run Hasan Piker for president and for every office this year?
Why? Remember, that was the media. Remember for a couple days everyone was like, hair on fire. We're going to lose Michigan and we have to hold Michigan. Now he's actually pulling way ahead.
They tried so hard to smear this guy, and the only way they could do it was because he associated with someone who was not one tenth as evil as Laura Loomer. I mean, that's all they had. And they tried so hard. And you know what? Michigan's not racist enough for you guys. And so, I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's going to be beautiful. And by beautiful, I mean hideous, because I don't wish 650 diesel on anybody on any economy. I had A caller on SiriusXM yesterday say it was 750 where he was, in Indiana. So, I mean, we talked about this last week, but when diesel is that expensive, everything is that expensive. The farmer uses diesel. The, the, the truck that brings the food to the supermarket. A lot of the delivery guys use diesel, and you pay for that every time your food gets used. So, I mean, everything is gonna get more expensive. And they are turning around and saying, shut up and enjoy your high gas prices. Because we kept Iran from having a nuke. Obama did that. And it didn't lead to any dead droops or lies about dead droops. At the same time, they're saying, shut up. If you don't want a data center, it, means you like China and you're backwards and weak. I mean, please keep insulting your base. Republicans, please. They might find it too expensive to buy gas on election day. I encourage you.
Yeah, and everybody's turning on them, right? And it's not just Trump, when I think about Paxton. As a matter of fact, the New York Times, I just came across my desk, asked 12 Texans who voted for Trump in 2024, when you hear the name Ken Paxton, what comes to mind? They just. What comes to mind 10 maggot Republicans in Texas. And here's what they said. Crook, criminal crook, crooked, bad, amoral, disgusting, morally corrupt, disgusting, corrupt, womanizing, crook. Crook is the word that comes to mind.
All of these things are true of Donald Trump in spades. But Donald Trump has charisma and Ken Paxton does not. And that's why there's gonna be no heir to the empire. J.D. vance is not gonna be able to walk in and take over MAGA once the Lord has had Trump's arteries do what his arteries are gonna do. None of these quisling clowns have the riz to keep these MAGA racists in check. So, you know, enjoy it, folks. Watch it die, because it's going away, and Donald Trump's influence is only going to get smaller. I've been telling everyone this. They're going to hurt a lot more people. But please, don't forget to stop and smell the train wreck, because a lot of decent people have earned the right to laugh at this. And it's time to start letting ridicule be one of our favorite nonviolent weapons. It's collapsing. It's going to be the end of Scarface. And I can't wait. Once the Democratic Congress has sworn in, I mean, the Constitution will be back. It'll be subpoenaville all day long, and it's gonna be these same miserable quislings looking to save their own skin. Please, folks, take good care of yourself. Every one of you decent progressives deserves to live, at least for the next two years, to enjoy all these rats.
Which is why they're kicking almost a million people off of healthcare.
Oh, of course. Yeah. Because that's what you want to do, right? Right before an election when you've already got your big, awful bill that's going to be throwing, what, millions off of Medicaid and the ACA after the midterms, but now, oh, they found a whole great way to make healthcare more affordable by taking away the health care. It takes a lot to shock me at this point, Dr. Gill, but I watched J.D. vance, and no less an expert than Dr. Oz, announce that 760,000Americans are gonna be removed from the Affordable Care act because the administration, claims their enrollments were fraudulent. Right. There's claims of fraud? They presented zero proof of fraud. And JD Vance is leading a task force on fraud. Who works for a president who sells pardons to people convicted of fraud. A president who's been convicted of fraud himself. And their whole thing is, well, we're gonna reduce government spending, and healthcare costs and. Okay, sounds good. Until you think cost cutting is always about cutting basic benefits for people spending billions on unnecessary wars. A freaking ballroom. Nobody wants a goddamn Hitler, Arch. Nobody wants over a tariff war. Those can't be touched. So now the administration says it'll save 2.2 billion. And why would we distrust them after Doge? But, their whole philosophy is, if we can't afford to cover you, we're gonna say that you're suspicious. And they put this six month freeze on new insurance brokers. You know, the folks who, who try to get people hooked up with health care, which is like people who they're
saying are the fraudulent ones. Like, like if you get, if you dig into it, they're not like, oh, it's the people who are signing up for health care that are fraudulent. It's these brokers, it's these private entities now. They're not going after them. It's like when you remember how many times, how many times did you have to say, why don't you go after the businesses that are hiring immigrants? Oh, is there a reason that you're not going to after the businesses, you're just going after the immigrants. I mean, I equated it to these billionaires are giving themselves these m, trillions of dollars in tax breaks and then they come and kick the crumbs out of our mouths.
Yeah, that's it. That's the system. And until we convince conservative white people to care about this.
And Collins is in on it, she's doing paper play all over the place with our money.
She's so into this. But this is, this is the brilliance of it, right? Like the whole six month freeze on new insurance brokers. It's like, dude, you're, you're trying to fix a pothole by making tires illegal. You know, this is their whole accounting mechanism. You don't have to make healthcare cheaper. You can make the number of people receiving health care smaller and then announce we saved billions. And you know, 57% of ACA enrollees live in Republican controlled districts. So again, I say go ahead, idiots. Go ahead and take healthcare away from your own base. The Susan Collins thing is astonishing to me and I can't wait to see if the media cares about it. I'm really keen to see how this is affected in the polling in Maine. But at least now we know how she can afford to buy those pearls she clutches all the time. She's chairman of Senate Appropriations and she got some inappropriate appropriations. I mean this is like Costco government buying in bulk. Navatech told the FBI under Biden's presidency that they were funneling so many contributions to her while getting millions in federal contracts with her, including through a shell company that sent her like 150 grand. So you know, when your corporation needs a disguise for your campaign donation, that's not a good sign for the. Why did you need to pay her through a shell company? What are you putin But FBI spends years investigating Navitech's political operation. And by the end of 2024, you know, they thought they had enough evidence to get a big public corruption investigation. And then, you know, who comes back to the White House who puts Kash Patel, the first 14 year old, in charge of the FBI. And right away they gutted the, the FBI teams handling public corruption cases. So this is the pattern law and order. We fire the people investigating whether lawmakers broke the law. This is, I mean, this is what they do. They, they, they don't drain the swamp. They turn off the security cameras for the swamp. And that's what they'll be remembered by. We'll see. I mean, if this is enough for me, I think Maine's had it with Susan Collins and I don't see her being able to wriggle out of this, especially when they gave her a pass on her little personal scandal, that she kind of was able to write out.
I mean, I love that ProPublica had this. And they have more, by the way. That was just their first in a series.
And it's not just Collins as well. Yeah, not just Collins.
Right at the end of that very long article they're like, there was also someone else that met with Navitech named Lindsey Graham. And then they just leave it there. And so there's going to be more.

You know, Vindman's a great guy. Right. And I thought he would win. And God bless Angie Nixon, I'm very excited about her. Everyone's like, how could Vindman lose? He stood up to Trump in the first term. And I think it's because we're past the first term. In the first term, being brave enough to stand up and say, no, Mr. Trump, this is wrong. We swooned. It was great. We praised the people who called him out. That was the era of resistance. Now we're beyond that. Now we want candidates who are going to reform the actual systems that allowed Trump and this corruption so this corruption can never happen again. Standing up to the guy, really cute, really. 2018 of you looks good. What do you got for us now? And I think if we can find a way that the left doesn't go to war with itself, which is their favorite thing to do.
Well, I'd love to caution people that to please not expect Congress to do things that it is not able to do in the next two years. We always do this. We're like, I remember people calling for Steve Bannon to be Tried for treason. And I'm like, that's not going to happen. And you're just going to be mad when it doesn't happen.

I have people arguing with me on the Internet today saying we can absolutely impeach and convict and remove. I'm like, no, no, no, we can't. We can get 67 Senate seats. No, we can't. Mathematically, it's possible. No, it isn't.
Not right now.
We can. We. There are people who think that Article 2, Section 4 means you can impeach the entire cabinet and the President and the Vice President at the same time.
I know it. At the same time, though, I'm not On the side, Dr. Gill, of these Democrats saying, no impeachment. No impeachment.
I mean, I don't get that either. Impeachment.
I hear these Democrats talking about. It reminds me of 2006, when the Democrats finally won after because of Iraq war. And the first thing Pelosi and Schumer said was impeachment is off the table. I'm like, what in the name of Al Green is wrong with you people?

I want Donald Trump. Trump on the defensive every day in the next two years.
You can't remove him. I get it.
I want a different. But I've said this on your show before. I want the Democrats to approach impeachments the way the Republicans approached fighting Obamacare from the black President 2015 years ago. We mock the Republicans for all these Obamacare repeal votes, but what did they do? They were always messaging to the base. This is what we care about, taking health care away from people. But it worked. And it was a fundraising mechanism, and it kept them on message. And I want Democrats to do the same thing. Have a different congressman introduce new articles of impeachment against this guy every week. Will any of them make it? No, but I want all of them to be public. And I want this guy to be spending money on lawyers to defend himself for so many different impeachment articles. Because why make it easier for him? Let's start hunting this guy. Let's start putting him on the defensive and making him look like the weak weasel he is. It's the only way we're gonna convince these Caucasians to act. Elect a man that or a real woman or a real adult who can help us next time.
Yeah, I don't understand the well, you won't remove him and it'll just strengthen him argument. No, he was impeached and not removed.

The more energy they're spending on fighting off impeachments and having to pay for lawyers. The more they're focused on that, the less they can legislate away your rights and loot the Treasury.

My good news is that my Bay Area charity, Improv Team M Uprising, is having its third show this Saturday. We work with speakers from local aid organizations who educate audiences on the great work that they do. And then we improv based on their personal lives. In the past, we've partnered with an LGBT led aid organization, legal aid organization, and an immigrant rights defense team. This week we have a speaker who worked with pave, which is a housing charity. And Marco, that's the people you call instead of the cops for homeless interventions because those organizations don't need donations. Proceeds are going to keep Oakland housed, a group that has kept over 15,000 residents off the streets. The show is at Provocation Theatre in Berkeley. I think it's going to be the best yet. I'm immensely proud to be working with such a group of good improvisers and these amazing and inspiring people who've dedicated their lives to making a difference. It's my little bit of hope that people are still out there doing good. Attached is a photo of my family's new kitten, Kitten Scotch, a stray we adopted this week.
