msw media. Hello and welcome to the Daily beans for Thursday, October 1, 2026. Today, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals has moved arguments over whether release volume two of Jack Smith's final report from January of next year to the day before the midterms. A new Federal Reserve inspector general report shows no criminality in their renovation project. The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case on expanding voting hours. A court has ordered an in camera review of the memo authorizing Caribbean boat strikes. An NCCU psychology professor says black people don't hang themselves. In response to a rash of lynchings in the South, A federal appeals court has halted the execution of the lone woman on death row in Tennessee. And Riley Gaines. Title 9 lawsuit against the NCAA has been thrown out. I'm Allison Gill.

And I'm Dana Goldberg.

Oh, someone grab me the tiniest violin in the world for Riley Gaines, please.

Tiny. Tiny. Oh, she lost again. Oh, look at that. She lost again. So sad.

if you could come in fifth place in court, she would, but, you know, it's either win or you lose. Also, very Good news. The 11th Circuit, as I said, has moved up oral arguments on rele volume 2. You'll remember the Knight Institute of Columbia sued a long time ago to get the report. And a day after Jack Smith testified on the Hill, you know, when Eric Schmidt made a total fool of himself. Yep, the 11th Circuit was like, let's move those arguments up from January of next year to just before the midterm elections.

That's fantastic. Oh, my God.

Maybe we'll have a Merry Christmas. Also, please don't forget to vote for us for the Signal Award. We're nominated for Best News and Politics Podcast. There's a link to that in the show notes.

And if you are so inclined, join us in donating to Equality New Mexico. This is just for the Southwest Funny fest. It's on October 9th, but we're going to stop this on October 8th. We want to see if we as a community can raise some much needed funds for a smaller organization. But it's in the state of New Mexico too, so they can continue to protect the LGBTQ people. That is Daily Beans pod.com EQNM M and we'll be donating from the Daily Beans, Allison and I, and you will be able to match that. And we're going to announce it the night of the show, how much we raised. And I'm super excited.

Yes, I am too. And thanks all so much for those who have donated already, even if it's just a Dollar or two. Every single dollar makes a difference for Equality New Mexico. Like Dana said, they're a small organization. They sometimes get lost in the shuffle among the bigs. Right?

Yeah.

And so it's really important to make sure that they are fund the important work that they do for the LGBTQ community in New Mexico. And I'm really looking forward to the Funny Fest. Are there still tickets available?

There are still tickets available. Only about 100 in the entire theater, though. So if you want to go and you're really thinking about going, don't hold on these, because we've got a bunch of promotion coming out this week. A lot more people are going to start knowing about it. Just, go to my website, danagoldberg.com hit my tour schedule. You can go down to October 9th and get tickets. And the only ones that are even left are up in the balcony. I believe they're $30. 30 bucks. Yeah. Come join. I do the best I can to make this affordable so as many people can come to the show as possible.

Love that. And also, by the way, balcony seats are badass seats you have. They're the best view, so. All right, everybody, we have a ton of news to get to today. Let's hit the hot notes. Hot, notes. All right, first up from Courthouse News, a federal judge on Wednesday ordered the Pentagon to show him a memoir that supposedly justifies its series of lethal boat strikes in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean before the judge determines whether or not to make the document public. This is an incredibly important case. You know, I sued for the legal memo that justified ice entering people's homes without a warrant. And in this case, this is looking for that memo that justifies the boat strikes that have killed a ton like 200 plus civilians, probably. The Trump administration, which for months has been carrying out this controversial operation in an effort to combat, quote, unquote, drug smugglers, claimed for a variety of reasons, that the document is privileged when it denied FOIA requests from the American Civil Liberties Union and the center for Constitutional Rights to see it. U.S. district Judge Paul Engelmeier rejected those privileged claims, but ultimately found that he should review the memo himself before deciding whether to turn it over to the civil rights groups. In a 66 page ruling in the Southern District of New York, the judge ordered the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice to show him the. The memo, the money. I almost said show him the memo in the next two weeks. The court rejects the privilege claim with respect to two of the three privileges the agency invokes the deliberative process and attorney client privileges. That's what the Barack Obama appointee wrote, went on to say. But the existing record does not permit the court to reliably resolve whether the agencies have waived their right to invoke the third that's the presidential communications privilege. The court accordingly orders the agencies to furnish the information to enable it to resolve that question. Now, the document at issue is a memo From September of 2025 written by the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel, which the Trump administration says claims gives them the authority to conduct the strikes that have been decried by detractors as possible war crimes. I, say they are 100% war crimes.

Yeah.

The ACLU and the CCR filed the FOIA lawsuit in December of 2025, just a couple months after we learned about that OLC memo. So looking forward to what Judge Engelmeier has to say, but they have to hand it over to him. And that's the start. Awesome.

thank you so much, Alison. This one's from Democracy Docket. The Wisconsin Supreme Court agreed to hear a challenge brought by the Democratic National Committee, the dnc, that could determine if state judges can extend polling hours after Election Day disruptions threaten voting access, which is a potentially significant ruling for future elections in the perennial battleground state. The court, however, declined to fast track the case, meaning it's not going to be resolved before the midterm elections. The court announced Monday that it would review Democratic National Committee versus Boem, a case stemming from extraordinary wait times at polling places in Whitewater, Wisconsin, during the 2024 presidential election. The DNC is asking the justices to clarify whether Wisconsin courts can extend voting hours when Election Day problems threaten voters constitutional rights to vote. The case could establish statewide rules governing what judges may do when equipment failures, weather staffing problems, or other disruptions keep eligible voters from casting ballots before Wisconsin's normal 8pm closing time. But those rules, they won't come in time for this year's midterms. While the supreme court granted the DNC's petition for review, it denied its request for expedited consideration and instead put the case on a standard briefing schedule.

Now, that does not mean that if there are shenanigans in the midterm elections that, for example, the state attorney general or the state secretary of state in, Wisconsin couldn't sue to extend the voting hours. Remember when they did that in Dallas county for the primary elections? And of course, the Texas Supreme Court said, no, no, no, no, no, those ballots don't count we have to sequester those ballots. But Wisconsin Supreme Court lends a little liberal, so they may be able to come up with some emergency relief. So we'll see what happens there. From NBC the Federal Reserve's independent watchdog said Wednesday that it found no reasonable grounds to believe there was a violation of federal law in a multi billion dollar renovation project that drew criticism from Trump and short lived scrutiny from federal prosecutors. Remember when they tried to subpoena Jerome Powell in the Federal Reserve and the judge was like, no. And then Jeanine Pirro said I'll take anybody to court or whatever the hell she said that was that case. But the central bank's board had not effectively execut a contract and its cost management provisions, according to 120 page report from the Office of Inspector General for the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve. Still, the report did not identify administrative misconduct nor any reasonable grounds to believe that a violation of a federal criminal law had occurred. That's important because Donald Trump's looking for cause to fire Jerome Powell. Right. Because he can't just do it unilaterally, the Supreme Court has said.

Yeah.

Later Wednesday, Trump blamed the cost overruns on Jerome Powell, long target of the President's ire. This is Jerome Powell's fault and he should be forced to resign immediately. If he doesn't resign, he should be sued at the highest level by the United States government for either corruption or incompetence, both of which are completely unacceptable. That's what he wrote in a post on Truth Social. An attorney for Jerome Powell just didn't respond to comment. Nor would I. The inspector General's report follows a more than year long review into the construction site on the central bank's D.C. campus, which became a fixation of Donald Trump as the president also pressured Powell to cut interest rates. Powell, whom Trump nominated for the top Fed job during his first term, remained on the Fed's board after Kevin Warsh took over as chair in May. And this is extra hilarious because Trump moved his pet inspector general, Michael Horowitz.

Uh-huh.

One of only two inspectors general he didn't fire when he came back into office in 2025, moved him from the Department of Justice to the Federal Reserve, probably just to find a reason to fire Jerome Powell. Ye. And here we have. There's no misconduct here. The inspector general did say, though, that the Fed board had not established guaranteed maximum price for the project and had set up insufficient internal project governance to manage a project of such magnitude and complexity. And while there were cost increases during the renovation, the inspector general said that cost overruns resulted from inflation also limited subcontractor bidding, meaning there were a lot of no bid contracts. There were substantial board interior fit out design, design changes and challenging site conditions. So the same inflation that is causing Trump's new Fed chair to raise interest rates is what caused the project to become more expensive in the first place. And that makes me smile.

Yeah, a little bit. A little bit. This next one is from NBC. A federal appeals court Wednesday morning halted the execution of the lone woman on Tennessee's death row about an hour before it was scheduled to be carried out. In a last minute decision, the U.S. court of Appeals for the 6th District said it needed to review claims that Krista Pike's legal team made in a bid to stop her execution. At issue is whether pike can reopen a court proceeding centered around her allegations that she was sexually abused beginning when she was a young child, which the state acknowledged at a special hearing in August. And this is a quote, the interests of justice and the finality of Pike's impending execution compel the entry of a short stay of execution. In order to properly analyze the party's fully briefed arguments and to resolve the issues on the merits. This is what the court said. Now, it's unclear how long the execution may be halted. It was scheduled for 10am local time in Nashville and I quote, the court has stayed this, recognizing the serious concerns about Christa's scheduled execution. This is from Stephen Farrell of the Federal Defender Services of Eastern Tennessee. Both Governor Bill Lee and Supreme Court has said that they would not stop Pike's execution. Now, if executed, pike would be the first woman in more than 200 years that the state puts to death. That's according to historical records. Now this is the story. In 1995, pike was 18 when Knoxville police said she and two teenage accomplices were together to torture, slash and fatally beat Colleen slemmer, who was 19. Police say pike and the others, Lord Slemmer, a classmate in their job Corps training program, to an abandoned steam plant at the nearby University of Tennessee and that they attacked her. Another woman, Gail Owens, was on Tennessee's death row with pike until 2010, when Governor Phil Bredesen changed her sentence to life in prison. Bredesen happened to be a Democrat, for what that's worth.

Yeah, yeah, Tennessee had a Democratic governor.

yeah, they haven't always been red in 2010.

And our next story is from Triangle Tribune and Content Warning for some violence here, the recent hangings of African Americans across the south have resurrected lynching fears. The hanging death of an unidentified man in Raleigh last month was called a suicide. As raleigh police chief Rico boyce stated in a press conference, Widespread conversation regarding the incident, Whether on social media or in the press, has focused on historical and psychiatric evidence, Calling the police department's investigation into question. Christopher Edwards, NC Central adjunct professor of psychology, said a black person committing suicide by hanging from a tree Would be considered epidemiologically rare. In September 2024, Javion McGee, a truck driver from Illinois, Was found hanging from a tree in Henderson. In April 2025, Mario Kaiser Jr. Was found hanging in charlotte. In September, Demar trevian, Trey reed, and Corey zucchaitis were found hanging in Mississippi. This May, Juliana nzeta was found hanging in charlotte. In June, Cedric tayu's body was found in Harrisburg. On August 3, Taja Fortune's body was found hanging in Mississippi. And Demetrius fleming was found in Roanoke rapids. About a week after the Raleigh man's body was found, McGee's, Kaiser's, Nzida's, Reid's and tayu's deaths have also been publicly declared suicides by public officials. Edwards said, the deaths are suspicious because they all happened in the south. Quote, it is inconsistent with the mechanisms that men, in particular black men, use for suicide. That's what he told the tribune, Went on to say, it's typically a private affair. It's not designed to be public. Hanging from a tree is a public event Designed to show you that you could be next. And so the nonsense that black people are hanging themselves from trees in public places Is as inconsistent as the belief that shifting power structures has nothing to do with lynchings. In 2023, the Suicide Prevention resource center reported that the most common method of suicide is by firearm for men. Over half, 55% choose this method, and suffocation is number two, but the incidence drops to 24%. Similarly, outside of firearms, the incidence rate for poisoning and suffocation among women Is tied at 26%. Edwards said for these cases to be suicide, there needs to be forensic evidence on both trees from which the victim were hanged and their own bodies that indicated they had been scaled like they had climbed the tree to accomplish the task. And that quote suspends common sense. Now, the resurgence of these hanging deaths is to terrorize black people into submission, he said. Motivated by resentment toward advances in racial equality, Edwards argues that the destabilization of white power structures in the south that had occurred in the past 20 years is what has led to lynchings. Quote, it's a way of balancing what politics cannot. He said, if you're a white man looking around you, what you see is a number of people like you increasingly shrinking. And it does not give many avenues to continue your social standing to actually fix that. But lynching allows you the same autonomy to adjust your environment that lynchings did in the 1800s.

My goodness. And, I just want to thank some of our listeners for writing to me and, and asking us to talk about this more on the pod. We've covered some of the stories, obviously, you know, throughout the years, but this is happening more and more. I think in the last year, there's been eight. And just to reiterate, black people do not hang themselves from trees.

No, no. It's ridiculous.

Thank you so much for that, Allison. This, is from Aaron Reed at Aaron in the Morning on Substack. Who we love. A United States district judge from the Northern District of Georgia has dealt a major blow to Riley Gaines's effort to further shake down the NCAA for not discriminating against transgender women. Hard enough this time. She and her cadre of conservative extremist lawyers were using concussion research dollars to enable anti trans attacks. Her team said it would file an appeal. Of course they will. However, like, many of the other GOP attacks on civil rights, it wasn't based in fact. The lawsuit rested on the false premise that the NCAA received federal dollars. And I quote here, there is no evidence that the NCAA ever received or could have received federal funds. This is from a Biden appointee, Judge Tiffany Johnson. That's what she wrote and went on to say. Thus, plaintiffs Title 9 claims they can't proceed. They're not federally funded. Riley Gaines is, by the way, this really annoying far right golden child of the moment to marginalize trans people, especially trans women, by pushing them out of educational and social environments like school sports. Gaines's attorneys argued her civil rights were violated because she competed against Leah Thomas, a transgender athlete, back in 2022. The two women, by the way, tied for fifth place. It's not like Leah Thomas came in first and Riley Gaines came in second. It was fifth place. She's been highly compensated anti trans activist ever since. She's on Fox News. She's getting paid by, I'm sure, the Heritage foundation, like all of these people. The Trump regime has been active in using Title 9's protections for women to exclude women who are transgender. It argues it has the legal authority to reinterpret the decades old statute to fit its political agenda. In this case, the Gaines attorneys argued falsely. It seems that the ncaa, which oversees elite college athletes, receives federal funds. Now this is due to a collaboration between the NCAA and the Department of Defense to study concussions through Concussion Assessment, Research and Education, otherwise known as care that consortium. But Johnson pointed out that affiliation is not the same as being a direct recipient of funds. She included a helpful chart in court filings to explain Gaines attorneys how government funding works. On Twitter, Gaines reacted to the defeat with a troubling vow. And I quote, of course we're going to appeal. The goal from the beginning was to get this case before the Supreme Court. You can read the full ruling on Aaron in the Morning, her substack. It's fantastic.

This is why we have to win the midterm, so that then we can win 2029 so that we can add seats to the Supreme Court and we can make sure that the Supreme Court rules that Title IX protections include transgender women and girls. Like, that's what it's there for. Okay? Transgender women are women, and women are protected under Title IX.

And you have to remember, Title 9 is equality in education. All of education, which they have now stripped. This administration has now stripped any protections for sexual assault in the schools because they also wanted to strip any protections from LGBTQ people in the schools. This administration is a piece of shit. And so if you really care about girls and you really care about girl sports, you'd be up in arms about this because they're stripping protections that protect college girls from being able to report and be protected from sexual assault.

And if you really cared about protecting women in sports, you would probably know that Caitlin Clark doesn't play for the Atlanta Hawks.

I think she should know that.

Just saying.

I mean, she probably could, but she does not.

That's very true. What did she score that game that smith went to? 38 points. Yeah, with an assist from Amy Klobuchar. That's.

There you go.

That's how it goes. All right, everybody, we have to take a quick break, but we'll be right back with the good news. Stick around after these messages.

Maybe your favorite meme or a beautiful sunset. what you're growing in your garden. Maybe you got some egg laying hens or some goats for milking.

Whatever it is, the Goats for milking.

Goats for milking. Send it to us dailybeanspot.com click on contact. First up is your good trouble. Good Trouble today comes from Bruce. Bruce Hel. Oh, most fantastical Queens of the beans. My wife and I are going to be away for all of October and through election Day, so I was really fretting about our mail ballots. I called our county's election office and was amazed how easy it was to get our vote in. We just went to the office, picked up our ballot before they were scheduled to even be mailed out, filled out our ballots, and dropped them at a ballot Dropbox that was open early. Not a single federal hand touched our ballots. Others who were worried about postal perniciousness should call their election office and see if they can do the same. For my podpet tax, I submit a photo of our dearly departed Max doing his best Katharine Hepburn invitation. Look at this sweet baby.

Oh my goodness.

Oh, that's a good idea. Yeah. Again, you can just call your registrar. There's people there on the phones to help you.

Yeah, wonderful.

Thank you, Bruce.

All right, next up from Jen K. Pronoun. She and her hello and welcome to my good news submission. I've been a listener since the kitchen table days and I saw you live ages ago at the Triple door in Seattle. You have been my go to podcast for so many years. I'm not sure how I would have survived Trump 1 and now Trump 2 without you. Thank you so very much for your insights, compassion and humor. I have several points of good news. First, I just did my longest backpacking trip so far, three nights and four days in the Olympic National Park. Saw mom bear, mama black bear with her two cubs and herds of elk. The Olympic Peninsula in Washington State is absolutely magical. Hiking and backpacking are hobbies I just picked up in my 50s. I'm obsessed. I love being able to go where cars can't go and where hidden beauty awaits those who walk. Second piece of good news is that I am finally re engaging with activism after feeling paralyzed so far this term. I'm attending my county's democratic meeting, writing postcards and putting election signs in my yard. Feels good to be doing something instead of just doom scrolling. Third piece of good news and the very best news I have to share is that I'm coming to your midterm party in San Diego. I am so very excited to be with like minded people and some public figures that I've admired for years, including you, Allison. Dana, do you think there's any chance I could get a big hug from Harry Dunn, of course, if I asked nicely.

Yes.

Anyway, I just want. I'm so excited for this mini vacation I'm giving myself. Planning on staying in a little beach casita and flying first class because I had a discount code that was expiring soon. So I blew it on a flight to San Diego. It's been a minute since I've traveled solo. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm attaching two photos. The first one is me relaxing at the 14 mile point of my most recent backpacking trip. An abandoned chalet in the Enchanted Valley alongside the Nisqually River. I hope I'm saying that correctly. I'm sunning myself, elevating my cankle after being stung by a hornet and enjoying a special siggy. At 54 years old, I decided this is my entire new personality.

Yeah, the second big.

The second picture of my dogger. Her name is Juniper, otherwise known as Juni. And she is just the sweetest little bug. She's also an amazing hiking companion. While she couldn't do this trip with me in the Olympics peninsula because dogs are not allowed on the trails in that park, she has done hundreds of miles with me in the four years since I rescued her. She rescued me. Try to guess her mixed breeds. Again, many thanks for all the insight analysis of today's shit show and for many belly laughs for the last 10 years. I'm truly grateful and see you in November. M is a blank mix.

This is badass. Look at this.

I know. This picture's awesome.

Enjoying her special sinking.

Juni looks like a. A shepherd beetle.

German Shepherd. Some sort of hound dog, right?

I don't think so.

Maybe a little Australian shepherd or something because of that white patch. Let's see. Let's see what we got. German Shepherd Beagle. You got it.

So the only reason I know this is because she looks just like my friend, my best friend's dog, that passed away looks. And we called her a shagle.

A shaggle.

Adorable.

Yeah.

This is a really cool picture of you by the way. Living your best life. Enjoying your special Siggy. I love it.

Absolutely fantastic. Jen. We'll see you in November. Next up, for Meg Pronoun. She and her hello to my favorite beans. First of all, I just want to thank you for covering the mess happening here in Missouri. If anyone is wondering what happens when Republicans have a super majority in a state for over two decades, look no further. Second. Yeah, when, When. When you're the worst senator from your state and your only competition is Josh. Holly, you might be Eric Schmidt.

Yeah. No.

Second, I just want to thank you both for not only keeping me informed, but for motivating me to find ways to get more involved and engaged. I'm serving as a poll worker. Awesome. For the first time in this midterm election, I'm so excited to be part of the process and to support my community as they exercise their right to vote. I feel like listening to you bring the beans every morning has empowered me to get involved in ways I haven't before because I'm much more informed and because you help me not to feel so alone. So thank you to both of you. I appreciate everything you do so much. For tax, I'm sharing two photos. Spooky season is my favorite. Me too, Meg. So I'm sharing a picture of little me with grandma. She hates Trump and will tell you about it in a picture of my friends and I dressed as sexy Lord of the Rings wizards a couple years ago.

Oh my God. Love, you both.

Please take care of yourself and thank you again for the work you do. Okay, that looks like the coolest grandma ever.

Totally.

Oh, my God.

Oh my God. This is so funny. Oh my God.

This is the best sexy Lord of the Rings wizards. I'm dying. I, can't describe it to you.

I know. I hope you're a patron. This is outstanding photograph.

This is really excellent cosplay.

Oh my God. So good. All, right. Thank you for that. Next up from Anonymous. No pronouns given.

Hello.

Check out sanctuaryone.org for more info. Of course, we're gonna have a link in the show notes. And we've got some kitties for adoption.

Oh, a couple tuxes and a couple of tabbies. Critter, Mercury, Tucker and Harper. Aloha. Love it. Thank you so much. And, I'm glad that sign is finally down, by the way. Anyway, next up from Jen. Hey, girls. As a fellow gen x early 50 something year old, I was also concerned about the efficacy of my MMR vaccine. I received it in the late 70s as a child and the last Time I went to my doctor for a checkup with blood work, I asked her to include a measles titer test. Thankfully, my vaccine is still a. Okay. Everyone who is our generation or who has previously received a measles vaccine can easily have their doctor add this when they're doing their regular blood work. It's well worth it for peace of mind. Keep up the good fight, sisters. And there's no tax here. But Jen, you're tax exempt, so it's fine. that's great. You. So just part of your blood panel. You can see if your titer test, if you're. You can run a measles titer test and see if your vaccine's still okay. Thank you for that.

yeah. Next up from anonymous pronouns he and him shout out to my wife, who suggested I get a measles booster before traveling to a hot spot last spring, which is Utah. I'm in my late 50s and assumed I was still protected by my childhood vaccines, but checked with my doctor who suggested I get my immunity tested first. I did. I had none. I happily got the shot. I just did my flu and Covid vaccines today too. Gotta get them all. Photo is the pooch we take care of when his family is out of town. We don't know his breed, but he's been described as mentally deficient. We still love him. And he, I'm sorry, he does look a little mentally deficient.

He does look a little. Yeah. yeah. Adorable though. So very cute. Thank you. Yeah. Another person who got tested. That's so cool. I'm gonna do this. I've got to do blood work here in a month or so. Next up from Robin Pronoun. She and her hi AG and DG loved your interview with Cisco Aguilar and I was so excited that you got him to swear. It's always like a deep, like whenever I talk to somebody very important in the government, like, oh, I don't know, the head of the Democratic association as Secretaries of State. If I can get him to swear, it's just like it just. It brings me joy.

Yep.

I'm writing to highlight Teresa Benitez Thompson, who's running for Nevada Congressional District 2 against David Flippo for the seat left open by Mark Amaday's departure. This is a huge opportunity to pick up a seat that has never been held by a Democrat. In 2003, Teresa was Ms. Nevada, and during the talent portion of the Miss America contest, she recited the words of Dennis Shepard, who spoke out in court about his Son Matthew. You can find her speech here on YouTube. That's Matthew Shepard. Yeah. We'll have a link to that in the show notes, and we'll also have a link to electtheresa.com Also, I wanted to ask if you'd consider bringing back your election season sign off, reminding everyone to vote blue, vote down ballot, and bring friends. My picks are me in my newest crochet creation, a, resist frog hat and a friend. And me with our get out the vote signs. Okay. Love the frog.

So good.

Fantastic. Your vote matters. Vote early. Yeah. Wonderful. Thank you, everyone, for sending in your good news.

I also love that this, Teresa was Miss Nevada and, recited the words of Dennis Shepherd. Dennis is pretty quiet most of the time. Not. Not. He's not the one in the. The forefront. He's very shy. He is a very sweet, sweet, sweet, quiet man. Judy does a lot of the speaking at public events, and so to hear that she recited the words of Dennis Shepherd I think is really, really powerful. Really powerful. They are an incredible couple that still does so much to protect and. And educate people, about and for the LGBTQ community. They're an extraordinary family. Robin, I love that you even brought this into one of your stories.

It's fantastic. Amazing. Thank you all so much. Please continue to contribute your good news to us. Dailybean.space.com, click on Contact. And yes, it being October 1st, it is spooky season. It's also October surprise season. We are right in the middle of the midterms. Remember, the midterms are now. They end on November 3rd. So make sure you vote. We got some, good suggestions about how to. To, you know, maybe do that in case you, want to avoid the perniciousness of the United States Postal Service. But, yeah, since it's October, I think it's time that we, revive our election season sign off. Do you remember, I mean, do I say vote blue no matter who, and you say all the way down the ballot? Is that how it goes?

Sure.

All right.

That's how we're gonna make it.

I think that's it. We'll give it a shot. Everybody will see you tomorrow. And over on Beans Talk. Until then, please take care of yourselves, take care of each other, take care of the planet, take care of your mental health. Health, take care of your family, and vote blue no matter who.

all the way down the ballot.
