New York and California will fund Planned Parenthood in their respective states after the Trump cuts. The Trump administration plans to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Liberia. Letitia James has pled not guilty to mortgage fraud and has filed motions to dismiss the charges against her. Don Jr. S startup drone company just won a huge no bid army contract. I'm Alison Gill.
And I'm Dana Goldberg.
Hello. Happy Monday, my friend.
Happy Monday to you. Welcome back. And welcome to me back. Thanks for covering me. I had fun covering you. We're a whole happy family. I want to not apologize because I had no control over this. Chicago sold out in about 40 hours. And so I know there was a lot of people that wanted to get tickets that didn't get a chance to. There is still a very small chance we might add a second show. So please stay tuned on the podcast for that. I, I haven't heard back from the theater to know if it's even available, but I just want to let you know and if not, I will be back in Chicago soonish. So just have no fear. I'm sorry if you didn't get tickets, but a thank you to those who did and did quickly. We're going to have a Wonderful Night on November 14th. Um, but just keep, keep an ear out. I promise I'll let you know as soon as possible whether that's going to be a yay or a nay. By the way, Martin Sheen.
What the fuck? OAG kept that under wraps a little bit. Right?
I love to see this. I mean, I just watched his son's documentary by the way, and it's mind blowing the fact that that kid is still alive.
Mhm. I know he's been through so, so much.
So much.
Yeah, I remember back in the day when it was when his name was Martin Sheehan and Emilio Estevez. Right. Like that's how we were pronouncing those back then. There's a new podcast out, it's on MSW Media Media. It's called The Martin Sheen Podcast. And it is fantastic. I'm not sure how to categorize it other than incredible life stories and poems. It's very patriotic. It's like Fireside Chats. It's like if President Jeb Bartlett was reading you bedtime stories. I can't put a finger on this. It's art and it's fantastic. So if you have a chance, you can go and subscribe, listen for free. It's called the Martin Sheen Podcast. And, um, the whole family, Renee, and everybody was involved. It's just a really, really wonderful, like, respite from everything that's going on. And, you know, he grew up in a big immigrant family. His, I believe his dad was from Spain, his mother from Ireland. So he's Irish Catholic and Latino. And he has a lot to say about immigrants and America. And it's, uh, just a fascinating piece of art, this podcast. So give it a whirl. I highly recommend it. I love it.
I gained a tremendous amount of respect for him watching Charlie's documentary.
Yeah, absolutely. Also, there's a new breakdown episode of the Breakdown, which is my video podcast on the Midas Touch Network. You can find the link by going to muellershirote.com, which is my substack, and I posted it there. So you can go and watch it if you didn't watch it live. It's every Sunday live at 3:30pm Pacific, 6:30 Eastern. But there's always. You can always watch it later if you aren't available at that time. I kind of wanted to do a counter narrative to the dumb Sunday shows. So that's why I put it out on Sunday. And again, the more you watch it, the more people that watch it, the more it's distributed. So that helps get the information to a wider audience. So wanna check that out? I go over in detail the links between Jeffrey Epstein and this Timothy Mellon and the Mellon bank, right, the bank of New York Mellon, who was just recently sued by a Jane Doe who's an Epstein survivor. So go over all that. We're gonna talk about it a little bit today too. Also, there's a new episode of Unjustified out that came out on Sunday as well. So check that out. So a couple of things that we're not gonna get too far into, but I saw happen over the weekend was when Besant was on, uh, some cable show and was talking about how he too is a soybean farmer and, you know, going on rough times. He's a soybean farmer, landlord, Everybody. He's worth 500 million doll.
What?
It reminds me of our like Help a Billionaire foundation. Like you just. I see this commercial with billionaires in. In Kennels and Sarah McLaughlin is playing and they're like, Please, for. For $130 million from an anonymous financier, you too can help a billionaire. I'm just like, oh my God. Poor, poor, poor billionaire Scott Besant. Also Trump. Did you see like somebody leaked that he's been saying that he's also the speaker of the House and the President. Yeah. Mhm. And that Mike Johnson's basically a cuck that does whatever he says, which is true.
I think we've all known it, but now we have it on a. Huh, Hot mic. Jeez, man, what a mess. I'm really hoping they start to eat their own soon. Like I really hope at some point people have just had enough, but I don't know if they can anymore. You know, Bungino, I don't know if you saw him, he looks like he's been rode hard and put away wet. I don't even know if that's a proper statement to say. But the guy looks rough and they can't fire him because he knows where the bodies are buried. So they either pay him out to stay or he disappears like he's not in a good space.
That's Bungie, you know, you're talking about.
Yeah, yeah. Just talking about these people that are supposed to be loyal, but man, remember.
They brought in a co. FBI deputy director from Missouri, a guy named Bailey, to like help out Bongino because he's just, I don't know, he's coming apart at this. Who, who knew? Who could have seen it coming?
Yeah, right. All of us.
Yeah. Just bizarre. And also extremely expected. And then of course, Donald Trump is on truth social today, telling, don't ever take Tylenol, don't give Tylenol to children. Everyone stop doing Tylenol. And your vaccines, you have to do them this way. Like it's. He's just completely gone off the deep end, I think. I swear to God, he's about to launch Trump aspirin or something.
Oh, probably like call it aspirin because I just wanted to say the memes off Trump aspirin.
Yeah.
Spelled A, S, S, P, I, R.
N or like in the birdcage. What are you giving him? It's aspirin with the A and the S scraped off. Purine tablets.
I need my purine tablets. What are you giving him? Don't worry, it's just the aspirin with the A and the SS Scraped off.
I cannot wear shoes. I will fall down.
They make me fall down.
Hank Azaria.
I don't mean to laugh, Ms. Armand, but you look so funny in a wig. I literally just rewatched the Birdcage last week on a flight. It's one of the best fucking movies. Oh, my God.
Well, when the schmecken beckons, it's just so good. All right, everybody, we have so much news to get to today, so we're gonna do some quick hits.
And to make a long story short. Too late.
All right, first up, Letitia James, New York Attorney General. She was arraigned on Friday. She pled not guilty to both counts. There's a hearing on her motion to dismiss on vindictive and selective prosecution grounds scheduled for December 5th. Her trial is scheduled for January 25th. She's requested a speedy trial, and she's filed a motion challenging the legitimacy of Lindsey Halligan's appointment as U.S. attorney, which has something else that. That's. Jim Comey did that as well. And because no judge in the District of Virginia, Eastern District, can hear that case, they've sent it out to South Carolina. So the judge in Letitia James case has sent it to the same judge in South Carolina.
Oh, interesting.
That's considering Comey's motion to dismiss his charges based on the inappropriate appointment or unlawful appointment of Lindsey Halligan. And that judge, a, uh, Clinton appointee, is going to be deciding this week whether he's going to consolidate Letitia James and James Comey's case together on this and decide them both at the same time or whether he'll hear them separately.
Okay.
Um, so that is all going on. We're covering those cases in a lot of detail on the Unjustified podcast. There's a new episode out right now, so you can check that out.
All right, thanks. And in a brief court filing, a lawyer for the justice department said that Mr. Abrego Garcia, who was brought back to face criminal charges and is now being held by immigration officials, he could be removed to Liberia as soon as October 31st. But that plan, it could be delayed, even derailed, if his lawyers mount a challenge to this latest effort to expel him. And I'm sure they're going to. They'd suggested Eswatini, Ghana and Uganda as well, by the way, and told him they'd send him to Costa Rica if he pled guilty. Uh, none of those are his home, by the way. His lawyers on both.
He said, send me to Costa Rica. That would be great. And then they're like, no, only if you plead guilty.
Yeah. His lawyers on both fronts are fighting to get him released on the grounds that the government is punishing him for exercising his right to object. And that's exactly what's happening because they have fucked this up from the day one.
Yes, they really, really have. This is kind of cool. Judge Ellis, she's the judge in Chicago that issued that restraining order that prevented ICE from using, like, riot tactics on protesters and members of clergy after that guy got hit with the pepper ball. And, uh, journalists that are covering the protests, they can't do any of that, detain them or anything unless there is a probable cause that they're actually committing a crime. Of course, DHS spokeswoman Trisha McLaughlin says, oh, they were throwing stuff. She always like, they rammed our cars. And that always turns out to be a lie. Which is why Judge Ellis also issued, uh, uh, an order that they have to wear body worn cameras. Right. And they were like, well, we can't because it's government shutdown. She's like, look, this isn't a suggestion. It's not up for discussion. It's an order. You have to wear body worn cameras. And she also is concerned about because she, in her order said that if you're going to deploy tear gas, you have to give multiple verbal warnings that you're going to deploy tear gas. And Gregory Bevino himself, this is the Trump's top border patrol czar in Southern California. You saw him at the MacArthur park invasion in Los Angeles. You saw him. He's now doing stuff with Operation Midway Blitz. He's in charge of that ICE operation in Chicago. Right now, he's on video deploying tear gas without warning.
Wow.
And so Judge Ellis has ordered Kristi Noem to produce Gregory Bevino in person in court for a hearing on October 28th. That's tomorrow. So, uh, you'll definitely want to follow me. Adam Classfeld, Anna Bauer, you know, your typical amazing court reporters and independent media to get the latest on that. But, you know, I've been talking about Bavino for weeks now. He's the one who testified, who flew out to Los Angeles in a misdemeanor case where ICE was accusing this guy named Ramos Brito of assaulting an officer. And Bovino got on the stand and just lied to everybody and said, I saw him do it. And then the public defender for this guy, Ramos Brito, produced a video showing that was actually the ICE officer that assaulted him. And it took the jury less than an hour to acquit that guy, he just.
Wow.
Fucking lied right on the stand. So he's going to have to be in Judge Ellis's courtroom this week, and I'm here for it.
That's fantastic. Uh, this next story is just gross nepotism. It is. It's just. It's just gross. A Florida based drone manufacturer that is linked to Don Jr. Just received its largest ever contract to supply parts to the Pentagon. This is from the Financial Times. Unusual Machines is what it's called. Um, I'm surprised it's not called Coke Drones. I mean, that would be Coke drones. Don Jr. S company just called Coke Drones. It's a company that builds and sells drones. This company was said that the US army had contracted it to make 3500 drone motors, among other parts. And the Pentagon indicated that it would order an additional 20, 20,000 components in 2026. This family is making so much money. Unbelievable. CEO Alan Evans said that he believed it was the largest order the company had ever received from the US Government, but he did not disclose the value of the contract. The Defense Department appears to have stopped posting daily contract notices since the government shutdown began on October 1st.
Yeah. Funny that. I used to be able to look up these contracts myself and now I can't.
There's so many of them happening right now and they're just burying them.
It's like that electric company that was given the contract to rebuild the grid in Puerto Rico.
Uh-huh.
Remember? And it was like, two guys that have never done anything like this before. It's so shady.
Yeah.
Next up from the Associated Press, the U.S. military is sending an aircraft carrier to the waters off South America, according to the Pentagon. And the latest escalation of military firepower in the region, where the Trump administration has unleashed more rapid strikes in recent days against boats. And I'm not going to read what this article says because these are fishermen boats. These are not drug carrying. And the thing is that we don't know because there was no due process. They just murdered everybody on the boat. Uh-huh. And then to avoid having their boat strikes questioned in court, they released two of the people who survived one of the more recent boat strikes. So Kegseth ordered the Gerald Ford, the USS Ford and its whole strike group to deploy to the U.S. southern Command region to, quote, bolster U.S. capacity to detect, monitor, and disrupt illicit actors and activities that compromise the safety and prosperity of the United States.
So I saw something that said they've killed 43 civilians in these attacks. Yeah, pretty much not knowing whether or not they are actually. We have no proof. No proof. And Trump is just like, I guess we're just gonna kill people. Mm.
Mhm. That's it. And that's, that's the lack of due process. That's why this is murder.
Yeah, I did see something that some of these hardline Republicans, this specific situation is where their cracks are starting. So good.
Well, I hope it's true. Yeah, I saw Rand Paul like, what the fuck? You know? And it's like, well, look, eye doctor, thanks for speaking up. But he's like, so many Republicans are against this and behind closed doors. And I'm like, you gotta start fucking naming names. Yeah, I'm tired of the, uh, all these people are telling me, tell me who, tell me who is saying that. Get, get on the record, please. What the fuck are you doing? Ugh. Uh, anyway. Bunch of cowards. Just cowards.
Yep.
All right, we got, uh, hot notes to get to and then of course, we'll get to the good news. But we have to take a quick break. Everybody stick around. We'll be right back after these messages.
We'll be right back.

All right, first up from the Times. Buckle up. Timothy Mellon, a reclusive billionaire and major financial backer of President Trump, is the anonymous private donor who gave $130 million to the US government to help pay troops during the shutdown. Whatever. Help pay the troops, my ass. Okay, that's not from the New York Times. That is from me.
Mhm.
Mr. Trump announced the donation on Thursday night, but declined to name the person, calling him a patriot and a patron and a friend and a gentleman. But the two people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the donation is private, identified him as Mr. Mellon. So they told on him. Shortly after departing from Washington on Friday, Trump again declined to identify Mellon while talking to reporters aboard Air Force One. He only said the individual was a great American citizen and a substantial man. Okay, weird quote. He doesn't want publicity. Trump said as he headed to Malaysia he'd prefer his name not be mentioned, which is unusual in the world I come from and into all the world of politics, you want your name mentioned. He's really me. Thinks the lady doth protest too much.
Mhm.
He sure does want to remain anonymous. That's not my. That's him. I don't know. He wants to remain anonymous. Mr. Mellon is the wealthy banking heir, railroad magnate, longtime backer of Trump. He gave tens of million dollars to groups supporting his campaign. Last year, he made a $50 million donation to a super PAC supporting Trump, which was.
Jesus Christ.
One of the largest single contributions ever disclosed. What does he want in return? I'll tell you in a second. A grandson of former Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon, Tim Mellon was not a prominent Republican donor until Trump was elected. But in recent years, he's poured hundreds of millions of dollars into supporting Trump and the Republican Party. Mellon, who lives primarily in Wyoming, keeps a low profile despite his prolific political spending. He's also a significant supporter of RFK Jr. Who also ran for president last year. Remember that?
Oh, yeah.
Mellon donated millions to his presidential campaign, Kennedy's, and has given money to his anti vaccine group, Children's Health Defense. The donation is a violation of the Anti Deficiency Act. This one to the Pentagon, which prohibits federal agencies from spending money in excess of congressional appropriations or from accepting voluntary services. It remains unclear how far the donation would go toward covering the salaries of more than 1.3 million troops who make up the active duty military. According to the CBO, the Trump administration's 2025 budget requests about 600 billion in total military compensation. A $130 million donation is about 100 bucks for each service member. One time payment.
Oh, my God.
So it's not for that. And something that the New York Times completely leaves out of its entire article. I looked and looked. Is the fact that an Epstein survivor just filed a lawsuit 12 days ago against the bank of New York Mellon for funding Epstein's sex trafficking ring and failing to file suspicious activity reports about it for years.
Wow.
Uh, also ties to Jean Luc Brunel and MC2, the modeling agency that supplied Jeffrey Epstein with victims.
Mm. Mhm.
You can learn all about it on my latest episode of the Breakdown. Again.
God, man. This fucking Epstein thing. It spiders out.
So far, somebody, uh, this is what happened. This is how it went down, Dana. Somebody on Blue sky was like, when they put the thing out that, you know, $130 million donation. Da, da, da, da, da. And somebody was like, this is a distraction from the Epstein files. And I was like, what if it's not? What if it's a really rich person who doesn't want Mike Johnson to have to come back to work to pay the military?
Ah.
So that we don't get a vote on the discharge petition. What if it's somebody who has something to do with the Epstein files? And a year ago, by the way, when this guy Mellon started giving all this money to MAGA and Trump, the bank of New York Mellon changed its name to just the bank of New York. Uh, uh, they took the melon off last year because they were like, we're just doing a rebrand. We just want to simplify our image. I'm like, yeah, you want to get that name as far the fuck away from your bank as possible, I think.
Yeah, this isn't an Epstein distraction. It's an Epstein obstruction. That's what it is.
Anything that you think is a distraction from the Epstein files probably has something to do with somebody who's either in the Epstein files or finance Jeffrey Epstein.
Yeah, absolutely. Okay. We are moving on. Although, you know, you're going to hear another Epstein story tomorrow, the day after, the day after that. But up from the Times, the Trump administration said on Friday that the Justice Department's going to monitor polling sites in California and New Jersey ahead of the November 4th election. Yep. Amid requests by Republican Party officials. I'm a little shocked they're not sending one to New York City for the mayoral race, but that's really interesting. Yeah. Voter fraud is exceedingly rare, by the way, but Trump and other Republicans have since claimed it is rampant, particularly voting by mail, which is how most Californians vote. Democrats have called the argument a ruse, a ruse of voter suppression. And I quote, this administration has made no secret of its goal to undermine free and fair elections. This is from Brandon Richards. He's a spokesman for Newsom, and he said that in a statement and went on to say, deploying these federal forces appears to be an intimidation tactic meant for one thing, to suppress the vote. Both California and New Jersey are led by Democrats. They have key races or issues on the ballot that could affect the balance of power between the parties. You know, California is Prop 50. Make sure you vote yes on that. Do it now, do it early. Do it on the day of voting. In New Jersey, Representative Mikey Sherrill, who is also a Democrat, and Jack, just CIA Citarelli.
I know that one. CIA Torelli.
Sia Torelli happens to be a Republican. They're running in a close race to succeed Governor Phil Murphy. Okay, so they're running for governor. In California. Democrats, uh, are looking for that ballot measure that I was talking about, Prop 50, to improve their chances of regaining control of the House in next year's midterm elections. The measure asked voters to revise California's congressional districts to favor Democrats in response to recent redistricting measures by Republican led states like Texas. In California, federal officials said monitors would be stationed in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties, three of the most heavily populated areas of Southern California, and across Fresno and Kern counties in Central Valley. The targeted counties represent a population of some 17 million people and include some of the most heavily Latino areas of the state.
Ding, ding, ding.
That's it right there.
Yep.
In New Jersey, Justice Department officials said that they would monitor polling in Populace, an immigrant heavy. Passaic County. Mhm. That's what they're doing. They're wanting these people to stay home because they're afraid of ice. They're afraid of. It's just, it's, uh, voter suppression. These are American citizens who are allowed to vote, but they're afraid they're going to get wrapped up in all of this shit because they happen to have brown skin tone.
Right. Or they ask for a ballot in Spanish that makes them, according to Kavanaugh, legal to detain in question.
Right.
Because they speak a different language. It's.
Yeah.
That's all this is voter intimidation. We saw it heavily in 2020, 2024. They went after black counties in like, Michigan and Wisconsin and et cetera. Right. That's where they target. Yep, yep. So we saw this coming. We knew it was going to happen. It'll be ramped up, I think, between now and next year's midterm elections as well. All right, next up from the Times, the Democratic governors of New York and California announced Thursday they were going to step in to backfill tens of millions of dollars in lost federal funding to Planned Parenthood after the Trump administration barred clinics that provide abortions from receiving Medicaid payments. Governor Kathy Hochul in New York pledged to fully cover one year of missing Medicaid funds from Planned Parenthoods in the state, roughly $35 million. In California, Newsom set aside 140 million, which would ensure funding for the organization until the legislature is back in session next year. Year. In July, President Trump signed into law his signature policy bill, which included a one year ban on state Medicaid payments to any health care nonprofit that offers abortions and that received more than $800,000 in federal funding in 2023. That's basically he's going after Planned Parenthood. Since the law's passage, Planned Parenthood clinics have been forced to choose between providing abortions or staying open. Roughly 200 clinics across the country, 1/3 of all Planned Parenthood locations are at risk of closure. One third underscoring the real possibility of a country where reproductive care is inaccessible for a vast swath of American women. Uh, I would say American people. The investments represent some of the most muscular efforts yet by states to protect abortion access from the Trump administration's cuts. Actually just healthcare access, you know, because the Hyde rules, none of the federal funding can go to pay for abortions. There's so much more that Planned Parenthood does. New York and California are the largest states yet to commit to filling the Funding gap following the lead of Washington, Hawaii, New Mexico, Colorado, Massachusetts and New Jersey who've already done this. So Hochul and Newsom have joined those states to help fill the gap in the funding.
Thanks so much, Alison. This one's from the Associated Press. Left wing independent Catherine Connolly, who secured the backing of Ireland's left leaning parties, including Sinn Fein, has won the country's presidential election in a landslide victory against her center right rival. Isn't this the third female president Ireland has, uh, elected, by the way?
Yeah, I think so. I'm not as up on my Ireland politics as I should be.
Yeah, I have a friend that lives there and I know she's very happy with her legislature. Good. Uh, official results showed strong voter support for Connolly as president, a largely ceremonial role in Ireland. She won 63% of first preference votes once spoiled votes were excluded, compared to 29% of arrival. Heather Humphries of the center right party. Fine, Gail. And, um, someone send in a correction for that one if I said that wrong. Fine. Gail Connelly, 68, said Saturday evening at Dublin Castle that she would champion diversity and be a voice for peace and one that, quote, builds on our policy of neutrality. I would be an inclusive president for all of you and I regard it as an absolute honor. Humphreys, um, conceded she had lost earlier Saturday before vote counting had finished. Connolly. Look at that. People just conceding the vote without actually challenging what I know. Connally, a former, uh, barrister. I almost said barista. Maybe you don't know what she did. Connolly, a former barrister who has served as a lawmaker since 2016, has been outspoken in criticizing Israel over the war in Gaza. She has also warned against the European Union's growing militariz, uh, following Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine. And thank you for saying that instead of the war, Ireland has a tradition of military neutrality. But her critics have said she risks alienating the country's allies. Connelly's going to succeed Michael Higgins, who had been president since 2011. Maybe I'm wrong on that stat then, having served the maximum two seven year terms, she will be Ireland's 10th President. I was not wrong. And third female to hold the post.
There you go.
There you go. The politician has garnered the backing of a range of left leaning parties, including Sinn Fein, the Labour Party and the Social Democrats. Irish presidents represent the country on the world stage, hosting visiting heads of state, and they play an important constitutional role, but they don't have the executive powers such as shaping laws or policies. Nonetheless, parties on the left celebrated the results as a significant shift in Irish politics. This is a quote. We have seen a real appetite for the change that Catherine represents. This is from the Labour Party leader Ivana Basic. She said, we believe this really does mean a new sort of politics is possible, that we can now realize the ambition that I talked about a year ago, the real prospect of a center left led government after the next general election. Others, including musician Bob Geldof, I'm sure he's very well known from the Boomtown Rats and former mixed martial arts champion Conor McGregor, who I have m mixed feelings about, had indicated they wish them to run for president but failed to receive enough backing for a nomination. I don't have to say mixed feelings. Conor McGregor, from what I understand is a wife beater. So I don't have any. He's a giant piece of shit. So glad that they didn't get enough backing. Well done Ireland. Well done.
Bob Geldof though. That's interesting. Um, Boomtown Rats. Uh, and uh, it's appropriate. It's Monday. All right everybody, we're gonna be right back with the good news. You don't wanna miss it today. She and her the USDA website heading blaming Democrats for not funding SNAP is a clear violation of the Hatch act and is of course a lie. You can give them feedback via email@feedbacksda.gov maybe look for other government sites with a partisan lie and let them know how you feel about it. So let's flood their inbox, everybody. Feedbacksda.gov let them know that the Republicans can open the government by themselves if they want to. Thank you so much for that good trouble, Lisa. We really appreciate it.
This is such bullshit. I'm so tired of these. Please do it, do it, do it. All right, this is from Anonymous. No pronouns given. Hi Alison and Dana. I did a bit of good trouble today. For some strange reason, I received a fundraising mailer today from Turning Point with a gross letter from Erica Kirk. I mailed back the return envelope and filled it with anti orange Mussolini stuff and pro LGBTQ stickers. Another like minded friend got the same maile and is doing the same. It's a small thing, but any other beans that get these mailers should do this too and drive TP crazy. I'm attaching pictures of some of what I sent to Turning Point for my podpet tariff. I'm attaching a picture of my besties, Hamlet and Ophelia, who are the sweetest kitties ever. They bring me joy during these dark times. Thank you so much for keeping us entertained and informed during these scary times.
Um, Hamlet and Ophelia. Look at that baby.
So fantastic that you sent all this stuff back.
They'll get the Trump always chickens out. I did that. This is so great. And the LGBTQ stickers were still not going back. I love it. What a great idea. What a good little good trouble. Doesn't it make you feel good too? Like when you do a good trouble, something little like this, how you feel is like 10 times the energy that it took to do it. Yeah, I don't know. It's hard to explain. Comes back to you in multitudes. All right, next up from Anonymous, pronoun she and her. I finished. I had a week of vacation, but finally got this completed. It was one of the hardest puzzles I've ever done. A, uh, yawning Keddie is my pod pet tariff. Look at the keddie given a yawn. That puzzle. She did it. Look, it's the one. It's the blue wave.
Amazing.
Look at that.
Amazing. Amazing. Yes, I do.
She hadn't even finished the outline of it the last time she sent it in.
Yep. Incredible.
And I'm gonna grab the next one too, from Anonymous. I just took this Picture the owner tried to chide me from a nearby park bench and I just walked away choosing not to do the same to him. It's somebody. It's a bird watching photo of a cybertruck. They're just so ugly. Ugh. Uh, they're just so. Anyway, thanks for that.
Anonymous oh they are so ugly all right. This is from Lisa Pranen. She and her hello Beans, Queens. While walking with nearly 7,000 other protesters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, I did a thing I should tell you. I'm not typically only loud with people I know and feel safe being just my silly self. Anywho, we were walking in the middle of the pack and could barely hear the callback from front or back. So I, in a voice I didn't recognize on my, um, own, started the callback with the show me what democracy looks like and they answered while a little girl on her dad's shoulders kept giving me the stink eye. I think it was too much for her. So I made sure I did a little dance and smiled as well. Nope, still gave me the stink eye. So I took a chance and changed it to show them what love looks like and they said it back. I was overwhelmed with the power of so many voices calling for love pictures. Our two cats, Stingers and Murph. I freaking love these cats and they freaking only love my wife. Thank you for keeping us so well fucking informed and for giving me reasons to fucking laugh. Um, my wife says I've been saying fuck a lot lately. Me too. Anonymous Me too. Oh no.
Lisa.
This is an anonymous Lisa Full out. Yeah, I agree.
Look at this. Look at these babies. They only love your wife, huh Lisa so great. That's so cool when you do when like being around people at like a no Kings rally or protest. They are really into that and all you gotta do is say one thing and you will get a thousand voices back and it's just amazing. It's an incredible feeling. So thanks for sharing that Lisa and your babies. Next up from Arty or Art. My blind Navy Vietnam veteran brother sent this photo and story to me. It's a good news story for blind vets and for all of us. Quote this past Wednesday morning I went to the Mather VA Hospital here in our area. White Cane Awareness Day. That's a day in each year when all veterans who use white canes get together and walk around as a group just to let everyone know that there are blind and visually impaired veterans somewhere in the neighborhood. Although they don't see us too often as they're usually Surprised when they see someone with a white cane. I'm attaching a group photo of my fellow vets, and I. It just happened that I was the tallest blind vet there, so I was in the back row, of course. And you can't see my white cane, but if you look down at the pavement, you can probably identify me by the wheels of my walker being in evidence there. I'm to the left side of the group behind a fellow who had a full beard. I was, of course, wearing my low vision glasses, so my eyes look kind of strange, I think. Look above, uh, is a photo and a photo of me of one of my brother's eyes. He's got. He's got pot leaf contacts. And that's fucking awesome. Look at this.
I love this.
I love it. White cane awareness day. That's amazing. Already. Your brother's awesome.
Yeah. That's such good contact. My God.
I know, I know.
That's wild. Wild, wild, wild.
