msw media. Hello and welcome to the Daily beans for Friday, January 16, 2026. Today, today an ICE detainee was strangled by guards in Texas. Renee Good's partner and family have hired George Floyd's law firm to represent them. Trump says he's considering invoking the Insurrection act in response to what's happening in Minnesota. Another federal agent has shot someone in Minneapolis. The ACLU has sued the federal government to end the practice of Kavanaugh stops warrantless arrests and racial profiling of Minnesotans. Vance JD Vance cast the tie breaking vote to defeat the Venezuelan War Powers Resolution in the Senate. An ICE error meant some recruitment were sent to field offices without any training. And a pro Auschwitz Republican is running as a Democrat in California after the redistricting. I'm Allison Gill.

I saw this coming. I saw this coming. I hope in the people of California and especially that area do not fall for this.
Yeah, I hope so as well. And that's why I wanted to kind of bring the story to light. So it's Friday on the Daily Beans. So we'll be joined later by John Fuglesang for Feegel Sang Fridays. And there's breaking news as we just started to record this and I was able to get the headline into the top of the show, but I wasn't able to get it into the full, script. So I'm just going to tell you about what is happening from the Washington Post. It says when U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the January 3rd death of detainee Geraldo Lunas Campos at a Texas detention camp, the agency said the staff observed him in distress and gave no cause of death. But an employee of El Paso's county's Office of the Medical examiner told Lunas Campos's daughter this week that subject to the results of a toxicology report, the office is likely to classify the death as a homicide.
Wow.
Now, in the recording, there's a recording of this conversation which the daughter shared with the Washington Post. The employee said the doctor there, quote, is listing the preliminary cause of death as asphyxia due to neck and chest compression, which means Lunas Campos did not get enough oxygen because of pressure on his neck and chest. So pending the results of a toxicology report, the staffer said on the recording, our doctor is believing that we're going to be listing the manner of death as homicide. He's a 55 year old Cuban immigrant. He died following a struggle with staff ICE guards. And that's according to an eyewitness account and an internal ICE document reviewed by the Post. So not just, you know, another detainee that saw this, but an internal memo from ICE that this man was choked to death at this concentration camp in Texas.
I want to say. Unbelievable, but it's not. I mean, we've got bad, bad, bad people wearing these masks in these uniforms without any sort of training and background check. I actually saw a video on Instagram. We can talk more about this on. On the Beans talk if you want, but there was a. I believe it was a journalist, a, liberal journalist who went and applied to be ice, and they sent her all the paperwork. She never signed it. She wouldn't go back to check in. And lo and behold, they had hired her. Yeah, they had hired her without her signing the paperwork. And she took a drug test and admitted a week earlier she had actually had cannabis. And apparently that wasn't a problem either.
Yeah, apparently they don't do the background check until after you're onboarded. But I also heard you don't get the bonus until you've worked there for five years. But, yeah, she wrote that up for Slate. Yeah. And, we mentioned it briefly, I think, when you were out that one day. But, this death is at Fort Bliss, which also, if you'll remember, in December, we reported that there were several reports of abuse. Remember the one guard who. And I'm sorry for content warning here, everybody. The guard who grabbed the guy's testicles and, like, squoze them and humiliated him in that way in front of other detainees, and people were being beaten and sexually assaulted. That's the same Fort Bliss detention center in El Paso. Yeah. So now we have a homicide by ICE inside the detention center. According to this, at least this recording that was shared with the Washington Post. But like I said, there's also an internal ICE document that seems to corroborate this story. So we'll keep on top of this. We will keep following this story as it develops, because this is breaking news as we're recording this on Thursday evening. And, we'll. We'll update you again on Monday. So I just wanted to make sure everybody got that story before we went into the weekend. You can find it on the Washington Post website.

All right, everybody, we have a lot of news to get to today. Let's hit the hot notes. notes. All right, first up from NBC, Trump on Thursday threatened to invoke the Insurrection act in response to rising tensions between protesters and federal personnel in Minneapolis. We've been talking about this for months, you and I, Dana, that this was the ultimate end goal. Quote, if the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the patriots of ICE who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the Insurrection act, not invoke. He'll institute it, which many presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great state. He is the cause of this. Ice is the cause.
That's 100%. 100%.
And, his warning came just hours after a federal officer shot a man in the leg. We talked about this in the headlines. After an attempted traffic stop in Minneapolis on Wednesday night, protests against federal immigration operations exploded after. After the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good. And when they. They say exploded, they mean in a peaceful way. By Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer Jonathan Ross. He murdered her. Renee Nicole, Good. Homeland Security secretary Puppy killer Kristi Noem said Thursday she had discussed the possibility of using the Insurrection act with the president. Quote, he certainly has the constitutional authority to utilize that. He doesn't, but I'm sure the Supreme Court might think differently. But that's what Noem told reporters outside the White House. And in a related story from the Post, Dana. And we talked about this, how we hoped that this would happen. It's happening. Renee Goode's family is accusing federal immigration officers of killing the Minneapolis mother of three as she attempted to follow agent's instructions and said Wednesday they have hired the same law firm that represented George Floyd's family to press for answers and accountability.

Yes. This is such good news. Her loved one said in a statement they want good, 37, remembered as an agent of peace and urged the public public not to use her death as a political flashpoint. That's according to the Chicago based firm Romanucci and Blandon. The firm said it's investigating Good's death and will release information in the coming weeks. Romanucci and Blandon said the family wants answers about the federal officers and what they were doing on January 7th in the neighborhood where Good was killed, as well as officers actions during the encounter and delays in medical aid after the shooting. The ICE agent who fired is Jonathan Ross, who is an Iraq War veteran. That's something that I didn't know about him. Who had served as a deportation officer since 2015. Quote, what happened to Renee is wrong, the firm said, adding that they intend to share their findings on a rolling basis because they believe the community is not receiving adequate information elsewhere. The firm, which helped secure a $27 million settlement for Floyd's family, is now representing Becca Good as well as Renee Good's parents and siblings. Becca Goode released a statement to Minnesota Public Radio on Friday saying the couple had stopped to support their neighbors. Quote, we had whistles, they had guns. Becca Good and her family have not responded to calls and messages from the Associated Press. Becca Good has referred to Renee as her wife. The law firm says Renee and Becca were not legally married but were committed partners dedicated to their family.
Thank you so much, Alison. All right, this one is from the Times. And a federal agent shot and injured a man in Minneapolis. You just mentioned this on Wednesday evening. This is from officials, by the way, an incident that touched off hours of clashes between protesters and law enforcement officers and that came just one week after an immigration agent killed Renee good. Now, Trisha McLaughlin, who we can't believe anything she fucking says, but she's the spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, said in a statement that the federal agents were trying to arrest a man from Venezuela who was in the country illegally in a targeted traffic stop around 6:50pm she said he fled from agents. I just, just want to point out.
Anything she says, first of all that.
Also you don't get to just start shooting at somebody.
Well, do you remember when Trump was like can't we just shoot him in the legs?
Yes, I do. I do. Now when the officer caught up to him, caught up to him, Ms. McLaughlin said he began to resist and violently assaulted the officer. I sure hope someone a camera and film this. She said two people came out of a nearby building and along with the man being sought, attacked the officer with a snow shovel and a broom handle. The federal government's narrative could not immediately be verified. City officials I know. Has it been yet? By the time I'm reading this fucking story. City officials said the person who was shot had and I quote, apparent non life threatening injuries. The agent's condition was not immediately clear. So I'm sure we're going to get some bullshit about the agent's condition because this happened the same thing with Jonathan Ross. Now that he's got internal bleeding when the car didn't even hit him. M like they're just going to make up stories. I really hope this is on video. I hope someone got it right.
And and the the internal bleeding for Jonathan Ross was according to two US anonymous two US officials, right? Yeah. Trisha McLaughlin, like somebody who wasn't there, probably.
I know.
Yeah. Nothing that Trisha McLaughlin says is true. And it's been disproven in court Multiple times. From NBC. As Immigration and Customs Enforcement was racing to add 10,000 new officers to its force, an artificial intelligence error in how their applications were processed sent many new recruits into field offices without training. That's according to two law enforcement officials familiar with the error. The AI tool used by ICE was it Grok on Twitter was tasked with looking for potential applicants with law enforcement experience to be placed into the agency's LEO program, short for law enforcement officer. And that's for new recruits who are already law enforcement officers. It requires four weeks of online training. If you're already a, law enforcement officer, you only need to take four weeks of online training to be an ICE officer.
Good Lord.
Applicants without law enforcement backgrounds are required to take an eight week in person course at ISIS Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training center in Georgia, which includes courses in immigration law and handling a gun, as well as physical fitness tests. They were using AI to scan resumes and found a bunch of the people who were LEOs were not actually LEOs. That's what one of the officials said. The officials said the AI tool sent people with the word officer in their resumes to the shorter four week online training. For example, a compliance officer or people who said they aspired to be ICE officers.
Stop it.
Mm mm Were considered, good enough to go through the online training course. The majority of new applicants were flagged as law enforcement officers, the official said, but many had no experience in any local police or federal law enforcement. The AI tool was initially the mechanism used to categorize resumes. The officials weren't sure how many officers were improperly trained. It's not clear how many may have been sent out to begin immigration arrests. The error highlights the challenge of training such a large number of new recruits as ICE continues to ramp up operations to boost deportation numbers. Amid pressure from the White House, ICE has also placed some new recruits into a training program before they completed the agency's vetting process. NBC News has.
That sounds like what could possibly go wrong.

All right, we got a quick story from ABC. Vice President J.D. vance cast the deciding vote Wednesday to effectively kill A Venezuelan War Powers Resolution. After the Senate deadlocked on the measurement, vance broke a 5050 tie. That means some Republicans voted for this, by the way. Broke a 50, 50 tie on a vote that stops the Senate from further considering the resolution. And senators will not take further votes on the resolution. And Republicans Senator Josh Hawley and Todd Young, who previously supported the resolution, they flipped on Wednesday. Holly Young and three other Republicans, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Rand Paul, voted with Democrats last week to buck President Trump and advance Democratic Senator Tim Kaine's resolution, which would block the use of US Armed forces to engage in hostilities within or against Venezuela unless authorized by Congress. Congressional authorization to invade and go to war. That's what we need. Trump called out the GOP senators who voted to advance the resolution by name in a post on social media after last week's vote and engaged with them over the phone. Can't wait to hear about how upset they are by all. Ah, the, the harassment they've gotten and the death threats they've gotten from MAGA because Trump put them in a true social post. Welcome to our world.

All right, next up from Raw Story, a Republican candidate for governor in California is going to instead run for Congress as a Democrat, despite floating Auschwitz, the infamous Nazi concentration camp, as an unemployment plan. In paperwork filed Monday, Kyle Lankford, everyone indicated he's going to run for Democratic Representative Julia Brownlee's seat in the primary for California's 26th congressional district. Brownlee announced she would not run for another term. Lankford's move comes several months after California voters approved a redistricting plan that was expected to have little impact on the 26th district. But last year, Langford shared a photo of himself standing in front of the Auschwitz concentration camp, where 1.1 million people, mostly of Jewish ancestry, were murdered during World War II. He included a caption that said the concentration camp was his zero percent unemployment plan. Langford later insisted he wasn't joking. Quote, I think it's exactly what is needed to stabilize California and keep people safe. My German ancestors smile upon me the rage.

Is there another Democrat that is registered to run? I hope if she's not voting.
I haven't looked up, though. I'm sure there are.
I hope to God that they're not just like, oh, we've got one Democrat, let's vote for him. Okay, we're going to find out.
I don't think, I don't think that the DCCC is putting forth Mr. Lankford as their candidate.

I think he's just doing that thing. Remember in Florida, all those Republicans that ran as not. Not party affiliated or ran as Democrats or had similar names to Democrats to try to trick people? I think that's what this guy's doing.
Got it. All right. Okay. This is from the aclu. ACLU filed a class action lawsuit today against the Trump administration on behalf of three community members and a class of similarly situated people who constitutional rights were violated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. As we know, ice, Customs and Border Protection, the cbp, and other federal agents. Over the past six weeks, the Trump administration has increased its deployment of federal forces by the thousands. Mass federal agents and military gear have ignored basic human rights in their enforcement activity against Minnesotans, especially targeting Somali and Latino communities. The Trump administration has been clear in its targeting of the Somali and Latino communities through Operation Metro Surge. President Trump called people from Somalia and I quote, garbage and said, we don't want them in our country and told them to go back to where they came from. Now, following Trump's comments, ICE and CBP agents have indiscriminately arrested without warrants or probable cause or due process Minnesotans solely because the agents perceived them to be Somali or Latino. Other words, they were brown or black.
Pure racism. Pure racism. In their lawsuit, the three Minnesotans challenged the administration's policy of racial profiling, unlawfully seizing and unlawfully arresting people without a warrant and without probable cause. This is a violation, a clear violation of Minnesotans constitutional rights to equal protection and against unreasonable seizures. So we'll see what happens.
It's what we call a Kavanaugh stop right there.

99% still being illegally withheld. It's amazing, all this stuff with Venezuela. Minneapolis. I'm still not distracted from that. Something must be wrong with me.
Let's Talk about Venezuela. Because JD Vance cast a tie breaking vote to block the war powers resolution to prevent the invasion full on invasion of Venezuela.
Further, yes, he did.
Invasion of Venezuela. And of course the typical Republicans who are concerned and furrow their brows were allowed to cast their yes vote so that JD Vance could still come in and cast his tie breaking vote. Talk to me about that. Why they decided, I think their argument was, well, we haven't done anything yet, I think was their argument.
It was almost like that. And I love that J.D. vance, who ran as this populist critic of elite power, cast the deciding vote to make sure Congress never has to approve a war ever again. I mean, I mean, hillbilly elegy to lap dog autocracy, one career arc. But I love this story because it really shows who the cowards are in this Republican Senate. Last week, and I think we talked about this, the grown ups in Congress, in the Senate did something very rare. They voted to limit Donald Trump's ability to start more wars in Venezuela without Congressional approval. Because the Constitution, you know, is, is, is a thing. And Trump put on his whole full court breast to block the final passage of the War Powers Resolution. He had a big tantrum, like someone, you know, took away his crayon. He didn't say, let's talk about oversight. He didn't say, I respect the Constitution. Donald Trump went and declared that the five Republican senators who voted to put some checks on his war powers should never be elected again. And, and they were brave. But this week they blocked the resolution that would have required him to ask permission before having war in Venezuela. And this was all pathetic peer pressure, intervention. This was mean girls with war crimes. We had five Republicans last week had the courage to tell Trump that there's congressional authority. Collins, Murkowski, Rand Paul, Josh Hawley and Todd Young. Because Congress declares war, President's not a king. Coups require oversight. And then the Republican leadership was like, yeah, nice conscience. Be ashamed if something happened to your career. And as of this week, Josh Hawley backed down so hard and so did Todd Young. And essentially their whole argument was, well, Marco Rubio Pinky swore that this would never happen again because their spine is something you get that's from a pop up store that works on the weekends. So the Republicans really did something smart here. They didn't want to vote against the Constitution on the merits because that might look bad. So they used this procedural sleight of hand to just kill the resolution without any debate. It's like they're avoiding eye contact with the Constitution. But three Republicans didn't fold. Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Rand Paul. Rand Paul, like, maybe the most unlikable man in the Senate. He always looks like he's telling the waiter in the Mexican restaurant, don't call it a tortilla. It's a rap. Rand Paul, he is the grown up in the room. And then J.D. vance comes and breaks the tie. So we got to see the profile in cowardice this week, when Rand Paul is the one telling the truth. You know, we're all in the up upside down right now. And briefly, a couple of Republicans tried to stand up for the Constitution, and they were threatened with professional oblivion. It's just amazing that they have time between covering up for pedophiles and covering up for a murder of a citizen that they still have time to cover up the war powers. It's, it's, it's so consistent.
And Josh Hawley firmly believes that his constituent. There aren't enough people to vote him out of his job. Right.
So he's probably right.
continue to, to side with Donald Trump. But there were how many other Republicans that, that also, voted yes to table?
Originally there were five, and then they only had to get no.
I mean.
Oh, right.
But nobody else stood up is what I'm saying. Nobody else besides those original five stood up to, to vote to have this check.
It's insane.
The Trump administration, I mean, not even.
The ones who are leaving. Like, like, like, not even the ones who are. Not even Mitch McConnell. You know, it's like, I have this one, simple thing I do when it comes to America annexing other countries. Alison. I always ask myself, what would Hitler do in this situation? And then I do the opposite of what Hitler would do. But that's just me. These guys, they just. He wants to be Putin and they're gonna let him.
Yeah. Now, what I'm concerned about is whether or not we'll get enough Democrats in Congress to block the continuing resolution that will continue to fund this government spec ice. Now that we've had, this murder in Minneapolis, I've seen Chris Murphy, Senator Van Hollen, say, I'm not going to fund this government as is.
Yeah.
Now, I've, I've long thought that it was probably best not to put conditions on not funding this government, such as voting to extend the Affordable Care act credits, because eventually, you either have to back down or get a promise from, you know, John Thune that they'll vote on it, not that they'll pass it, but that they'll vote on it or, you know, to defund DC by $1.1 billion and you get a promise to refund it or to fund it again in a different separate bill, which also didn't happen because Mike Johnson didn't make any promises. But, so I'm, I'm hesitant to even put a condition. First of all, you, you're not going to make anyone happy with which conditions you decide to put on it. But I think the condition should just be, I'm not going to fund this government.
I think so as well. I mean, Democrats tried it for 43 days last year and I admire that they at least made the effort and that they are firmly on the record as being against all that's going to happen. And just to, just to put a capper on the Venezuela situation, you know, the head of Exxon called Venezuela uninvestable. I mean, imagine if we broke this thing and now we bought it and no oil companies want to go through the expense and toil of going down there and, you know, drilling for years before there's any profits. And in the meantime, checking to see if cartel gangs are shooting at you while you're there. Sounds great for everyone in, in Iraq from KBR who enjoyed isis. But regarding this budget, I agree with you and I want to see the Democrats threaten to shut it down, you know, just, just, just scare them. Just. I mean, but what I see happening with the Abolish ICE movement is going to be exactly what we saw with the abolish the police. Joe Biden used abolish the police to become president. And this is what Democrats do when it comes time in a general election. You go for the most loud left wing argument and say, I'm not that liberal folks and reassure the white people in the Midwest. I mean, I knew Joe Biden was going to be elected the day he came out and said, oh, I don't support abolishing the police. It was just a layup for the guy. And so you'll see a Democrat say, oh no, we have to reform ice, not abolish it. And that's how a centrist will use this debate to get nervous moderates to elect them.
The centrist argument should be abolish ice.
That's just, I agree with you, but I mean, the centrist Democrats we have have really done a lot to make slight progress, be perceived as sweeping reform. You know, I think that they'll try to improve ICE a little bit. They will not abolish it. And that's going to be the sin on all of them. Because the Democrats were calling to, like, put these Nazi cowards out of business right now. Are going to look really good in the history books.
No, I, I agree. And they look really good at the ballot box as well.
I also want to say, Christy, no. Makes me ashamed to be an evil plastic surgery addict. You know, it's just, it's just not fun anymore. She's ruined it for the whole. Do you, do you love hearing about the migrants not respecting our laws, Allison, from people who knowingly voted for a goddamn felon, Is there anything funnier than that?
I mean, that are the, people who don't respect our police. Yeah, but, we've pardoned January 6th insurrectionists who beat cops.
And I've said, yeah, and it all makes perfect sense. That's authoritarianism. I mean, we've talked about it before. They'll love the cop who shoots and kills the unarmed black kid, and they'll always defend that cop. But if that cop's in the way of a bigger authoritarian, if Donald Trump wants to overturn democracy and that measly cop is in the way, then screw that cop. And that's how our Republican friends go from back the blue to fuck the police. If there's a bigger authoritarian, that is always where they will drift. That's their creed. That's their value system. And that's why they're cheering Donald Trump, acting like Putin right now. And that's why an ICE agent shoots and kills this woman. And the DOJ responds by saying, cool, let's investigate the dead woman. That's what they're doing now. It's like Scooby Doo villain logic gang. The real mystery is, why did the victim make us do this? It's all authoritarianism. And when you embrace that, nothing they do surprises.
Yeah, reverse victim and offender. That's part of the, part of the playbook. And now I think with this murder of Renee Goode and what's going on in Minneapolis, I think, Trump thinks he's got a fish on the hook and he wants to use it to invoke the Insurrection Act. And we talked about this months ago when the Supreme Court was weighing whether or not Donald Trump had the authority to deploy the national guard under Title 10, Section 124 06. And the Supreme Court asked the government to define what regular forces means. And I said, oh, on November 3rd, I was like, oh, it looks like the Supreme Court's actually going to block him from using 1240-6 to deploy the National Guard. They did. But my main concern was if he's not allowed to do this under 124 06, then he will probably look at invoking the Insurrection act to get around Posse Comitatus to do this.
Yes.
and I think that. That where we are now and I think we could see he's said today that he wants to invoke the Insurrection Act. He's been saying it for months and months, as has Stephen Miller.
Oh, yeah. He's telegraphing all of it.
Yeah. and so now he's also told Reuters that he, doesn't think we should have midterm elections. And I know there's some nexus between how he said he regretted not having the National Guard seize the voting machines in 2020. So I, I think that, that seizing of the voting machines is the nexus for him connecting the National Guard deployment under the Insurrection act with our elections.
It's all focus grouping. You know, he puts these things out there quite deliberately. He's not as doddering as we'd like to believe. He puts these things out there to see how they test with the right wing powers.
Or Stephen Miller does.
Right, Or Stephen Miller. Yeah. But it's all focus groups. I mean, that's. This is why they were trying to rig the midterm elections in the State of Texas 18 months in advance with the gerrymandering. They know what's gonna happen. The same thing that happened in 2018, the same thing that happened in 2022. And if Donald Trump has made this party so goddamn unpopular that they're considering canceling the midterms, then this is a party that wants to be ten times as goddamn unpopular. Like, these people are so stupid. They're only thinking about what they're gonna have for lunch and not thinking about dinner for the next three days. They cannot see beyond the next move. And it's why they're messy. I mean, they're going to really try to do this, and I hope they do try. And I want them to state their intention really clearly. It's going to be harder and harder for more m and more conservatives to keep on defending this guy. And, honestly, he ain't helping them. They don't want to have a midterm because they know he's going to hurt them. So it's like they're damned either way.
Yeah. Yeah. And now we're talking about, you know, if we're talking about the midterms here, you know, we did have some good news this week. The appeals court upheld Proposition 50 in California, which means I'm sure it's on its way to the Supreme Court. Now, the Supreme Court told Texas that they get to keep their redrawn maps, their gerrymandered maps, because it's too late to revert back. It's too late. The primaries are too close. So now we will see if the Supreme Court applies the same too late theory to reverting back to our previous maps here in California. Now, There was a Dec. 8 filing deadline in Texas, and so that it wasn't like it's too late for the primaries, which are next year. It was. It's too late because December 8th is the filing deadline.
Yeah.
So, depending on the filing deadline here in California, we'll see if this Supreme Court has. We already know it's already proven that it has no sense of consistency when it comes to states rights.
And why should they?
So we'll see what they do with regard to Prop 50.
Now, they're completely consistent when it comes to what Republican power wants. They're completely consistent in that regard. But yes, you're right, but.
So now, you know we're talking about five seats here. Right. And an additional five here to cancel it out. If the midterms go off free and fair, though, I think we're looking at 40 or 50 seat flips. So the battles are worth it.
And Mary Patola. But yeah, Mary, Mary Patola running in the Senate's in play. Like the Senate can be got. Because I have a very strong feeling, and I imagine you feel the same way, a lot of our Republican brothers and sisters will be staying home on election day this year. A lot of them.
Yeah, they did in November a couple months ago.
Exactly. Exactly right. Look at all the off the off year elections of last year. Look at the last two midterms. We know what's going to happen. We know that there's folk who will only show up to vote if Mr. Trump from the TV is on the ballot. And we also know there's a lot of actual conservatives still left who are just going to stay home that day. And they know it too. They see how unpopular it is and they think, wow, okay, our policies are so unpopular. How can we cheat harder to stay in power with our deeply unpopular policies? John Roberts might be the only Republican in this entire nest of evil aristocrats who cares about how he's going to look in history books. He's obsessed with it. The rest of them don't seem to understand that they're guaranteeing that they're going to look really, really bad. And, you know, maybe it doesn't matter. I mean, God knows Bush and Cheney were evil, and then Trump came along and everyone forgot what Bush and Cheney did. But it's all their fear right now. And, I mean, that's. And you're right about the inconsistency and hypocrisy. These are the homophobes who always want it both ways. Right. These are the same people who say, well, Renee Goode had to be shot by a cop. but God forbid any cops being beaten by the crowd on January 6th, if they ever raised a hand against them. I mean, if you're invading the Capitol with a mob and beating the shit out of cops. Cops. Because you want to overturn a legal election based on a lie and a cop shoots you, then you. That's murder. But if you turn left to get away from a masked ICE agent trying to get in your car, you deserve to be murdered. I mean, it's not consistency. It's whatever they want.

I just listened to Governor Tim Wall's address about the ongoing federal presence in Minnesota with Renee Goode's murder and everything since that day. I am outraged. Fucking outraged. Don't get me wrong, I was outraged before last week too. I've been protesting and marching all my life as a senior in high school against the Gulf War, then against the WTO, the Women's March in 2017, and so many more since then, thanks to a piece of shit who is our current president. This action is timely because of ICE's criminal activity and because ICE is encouraging local municipalities to partner. With that number growing by 600%, according to one township commissioner.
